"Friendly Caregivers and Angelic Administrator"
My one-month stay was nice. The caregivers here are really kind and treat you like family. The administrator is like an angel. I do recommend more outings for residents, though. Overall, it was good. Thank you.

"Great care in a welcoming home!"
My father-in-law stayed at this board and care home for about 6 weeks. He is bed-ridden and needed full-time care because of several health issues, including memory care. The staff was very kind and took great care of him. He couldn't join any activities due to his health. Sadly, the cost became too much for us, so we decided to have him live with us and hire in-home care. The Sierra Mesa Guest Home has 5 rooms and is very clean and welcoming. My wife and I would recommend this place to others.

"Reviewed Assisted Living Facilities in Neighborhoods, Services, and Atmosphere"
I met the director and visited two assisted living facilities. The first one, 3008 Melbourne, has six beds and is on the same street as Mission Home IV. The neighborhood isn't very pretty, but the house itself is nice with decent landscaping. The director seems professional and knows a lot about dementia care. They have basic activities like daily exercise and monthly music therapy. The patio and backyard are lovely for warm days. A private room costs $3500-4000 a month. My second option, 8693 Celestine, is similar in size and services. It's in a better neighborhood with a large park nearby. The house isn't as attractive as 3008 Melbourne, but it's still okay. The residents here seem younger. The back patio is alright but not as welcoming as the one at 3008 Melbourne.
