"Disrespectful Assisted Living Facility's Sole Interest Is Profit"
This place is extremely disrespectful to their residents and it seems like they exploit those who suffer from memory issues. There have been instances where the residents have indeed been driven to tears. I definitely would not suggest this place, move your loved ones somewhere else. Currently, the facility is under new administration and unfortunately, it appears as if the only thing they're interested in is making money.

"Cozy Assisted Living in Pleasant Neighborhood"
This place is really good. The people working there are nice and pay attention to the old folks. It's in a good spot, tucked away on a cul de sac near a park. The house is simple, not super fancy, but it's clean, even though it's a bit messy with stuff around. The bedrooms are basic and not big, with two twin beds.

"Warm and Homey Assisted Living with Friendly Staff"
The person I spoke with didn't seem to know we had scheduled a tour, but they still gave us a good tour of the facility. The house is very comfortable and is located on a quiet street. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas aren't the newest, but they feel warm and cozy, like a real home. The person I talked to tried to learn about my brother's condition. The staff seemed friendly and like they really care about the residents.

"A Very Good Community"
My mom is doing great and getting used to this community. It's definitely a good place for her. They're skilled at what they do and provide. She eats well, and everyone is friendly. The facility is clean.

I'm very happy with the service here. The staff are all very friendly and caring. I feel like she gets more individual attention because it's a smaller community. They keep everything very clean and make sure everyone is comfortable and content. They don't have many activities on site, but they are working on improving that.

The staff gave me a list of places for my mom. The first one I checked out was Simi Hills Home Care Center. The boss, Lidia Medina, was super nice and knew a lot. I told her about my mom’s situation and money, and she told me everything they offer for care. They didn’t miss anything, and some things I hadn’t even thought about. The price was good for my mom’s budget, and the place was super clean. The people who work there, Angelo and Doris, were friendly and answered my questions. I also met the only other person living there, and she was nice too.

I visited this place, and it was nice. There were three very, very old ladies there. I know I shouldn’t be too choosy, but I chatted with the director, and the price was $2,300, non-negotiable. So, I’m still planning to check out Oxnard.
