"Mixed Experience"
I want to share my mom’s experience at Springfield Place. She lived there for over five years. Some things were good, like her apartment, the grounds, and activities. But the meals were hit or miss, and the chef turnover was high. The worst part? The nursing manager delayed giving pain meds to my mom, causing her unnecessary suffering. Let’s hope no one else goes through this. Consider our story when choosing a place for your loved ones.

"Well-Run Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
Great location, though it's busy. The place is clean, spacious, and residents seem happy. Meals are nutritious. More outdoor space would be nice. The care fee of $450 seems high for healthy seniors. Overall, it's well-run.

"Great Place with Quick Move-In and Cheerful Atmosphere"
This place really went beyond what I expected. Because of a recent fire nearby, I had to find a home for my mom fast, and they were super flexible and helped her move in quickly. When you enter the building, you see how open, festive, and cheerful the community is. It's an older place, but they keep it updated. I'm very happy with their services and follow-ups. They have lots of activities like happy hour and movies. I've also eaten here; the food isn't gourmet but it's good enough. It’s more like a restaurant with a few choices besides the daily special. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Mom's New Place is Great!"
We checked out a bunch of places, and this one looked perfect for my mom. She's happy here. She's getting to know people and making pals. She's joining in on activities. The food's her favorite. The place is always clean and neat.

"Great care and worth the cost, though it’s pricey"
My husband gets great care here, and it's worth the cost. It’s pricey, but good assisted living is never cheap.

"Great Staff, Limited Outdoor Space"
The facility is really nice, and the staff is super friendly. I deducted a star because there isn't much outdoor space.

"Lacks Independence; No Meals Preferred; Seeking Cooler Environment"
This place didn't feel very independent. I want somewhere without meals provided. Like Rossmoor or Oakmont, but I prefer not Oakmont. I hope for a cooler atmosphere than Rossmoor.

"Seeking More Independence and Cooler Environment, No Meals Preferred"
This place didn't seem to promote much independence. I'm actually in search of a facility that doesn't include meals. Places like Rossmoor or Oakmont, for instance. However, I'm not a fan of Oakmont and I wish for a chiller setting than Rossmoor.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Excellent Care for My Mother"
My mom's experience at this place has been good. She's still getting used to it, but I'm sure she's safe and taken care of. The place is great, they really take care of everyone. The staff is awesome and they take good care of her. They have activities for the people living here. Mom likes the food too. Overall, I'm confident she's in good hands and safe. I'd suggest this place, it's been good for us.

"A Rare Find—top-notch care and uplifting atmosphere!"
After being a firefighter for 34 years, I often saw elderly people in distress at various facilities. None matched Springfield Place. From the start, everyone here has been professional and caring—sales advisor, manager, nurse, activities director, caregivers, receptionists, maintenance staff, chef, and cleaning crew. Residents are happy and positive. The place has a cheerful, uplifting vibe, with engaging daily activities. Caregivers assist with daily needs like showers, and meals are restaurant-quality, thanks to the great chef and lively servers. I feel confident that mom is well cared for.

"Springfield Place Made My Father Happier Than Ever!"
My father moved in two weeks ago, and he’s so happy now. He loves the food, his easy-to-manage apartment, and has already made friends! When we had dinner with him on Saturday, four people stopped by to say hi. He goes to happy hour three times a week. As his daughter, knowing he’s safe and happy has made me feel like myself again for the first time in a year. I arranged for him to have two showers a week and be escorted to the dining room three times a day. If you’re thinking about moving a family member to an assisted living place, this one was cheaper than other options, and he’s much happier here! Thank you, Springfield Place, and all the wonderful staff!

"Friendly Staff Make Springfield Place Feel Like Home"
So far, we really like Springfield Place. My loved one just moved in, and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Some things seem a bit out of place, and it would be great to have one person to help with the move-in process. But overall, the warm and friendly staff make this place feel welcoming.

"A Pleasant Place with Some Challenges"
It's a really nice place. The staff helps residents when they need it, and the food is good. The outside area is small with just a couple of benches, and parking can be a bit challenging.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Spacious facility, considering for mom, lacks affordable quiet room."
I liked it. It might be too big for mom, but I'll bring her to check it out. They didn't have a quiet room in her price range :

"Limited Care Schedule and Staffing Concerns in Assisted Living Facility"
I didn't like that place much. They only had one nurse, and none of the other caregivers were CNAs or anything. They wanted my mother-in-law to have a strict care schedule. The care price was based on how often they came to your room. It was expensive, and I wasn't sure she'd get the care she needed. If something happened outside their schedule, we'd have to provide a landline for her to call the front desk. That's not going to work. She's paralyzed on the left side and left-handed, needing total assistance. Making her stick to such a schedule wouldn't work. Everything else seemed good. The energy and everything there were really great.

"Nice Atmosphere, but Care Too Structured and Limited"
I wasn't too fond of this facility because they only had one nurse. The other helpers didn't have any official caregiver training. They also wanted my mother-in-law to follow a very strict care schedule. I didn't like that the cost was based on how often they needed to come to her room. This made the care more expensive and I wasn't sure she would get all the help she needed. If an issue arose outside of her set schedule, she'd need to call the front desk for help. It wasn't going to work since she had paralysis on her left side and she was a left-handed person. She needs help all the time, and trying to stick to their inflexible schedule wouldn't have worked. Other than that, everything else about the place was quite nice. The ambiance and the overall energy was great.

"Cozy Setting Near Amenities in Petaluma"
Nice place near stuff in Petaluma. One bedroom too tiny. Maybe two bedrooms better. They said wood floors are doable.

"Great location but small rooms, wood floor option available."
We visited here with my parents. It's in a nice spot near places in Petaluma. The one-bedroom we looked at was too tiny. Maybe a two-bedroom would be better. They did say we could get wood floors if we wanted.
