"Caring Staff and Clean Facility"

I like the care from the community. The staff is caring and attentive. The place is clean and well-maintained. They offer lots of activities for the residents. We really appreciate the care and the value here. I would recommend other families visit this community for their loved ones.

"Decent Staff and Quiet Meals at Hospital-Like Facility"

The workers looked like they knew what they were doing. The place felt more like a hospital than most others. The people living there didn't seem that active. They were having a meal and nobody was talking.

"Great Service, but Blood Sugar Care Needs Improvement"

I was really pleased with St. Francis Assisted Care while my mom was there, even though her blood sugar could have been watched more closely. Overall, they did a great job.

"Assisted Living Facility Excites with Friendly Staff and Motivating Activities"

Searching for a place can be tough. But visiting this facility turned out great. The staff were really nice and seemed friendly. People were exercising with bands, and the music was inspiring. I definitely want to visit again.

"Great care, affordable costs, and friendly staff."

It's tough to know where to start. The staff here are friendly, effective, patient, and understanding. The cost is surprisingly affordable, especially considering the services and compared to other similar places nearby. The outdoor areas are well-kept, and they are always making improvements. Inside, it's comfortable, clean, and nice. The food is really good, with a varied menu that meets different nutritional needs. They handle medication well, working closely with doctors and families. They take the initiative and communicate effectively with families. Safety is a priority here. While residents are in a secure environment, they still have a good amount of freedom and space, considering their individual conditions. I haven't seen any signs of abuse or neglect. They care for residents as much as you would yourself. They offer daily activities, but I haven't been able to attend, so I can't comment on them. Choosing an assisted living facility is life-changing and often unexpected. In my case, my wife needed care that I couldn’t provide while managing my job and other responsibilities. I'm relieved with the care provided and the cost is manageable.

"A Disastrous Experience with St. Francis Assisted Care"

Mum's Experience with St. Francis Care was a Disaster" Me and my brothers and sisters went to see St. Francis Assisted Care. We liked it so much we decided to sign up our mum. The following day, I moved her things and her new furniture which was delivered by the furniture company. I was there for about 3 hours and nobody checked on us. The admissions director, Elvira, told me a lie when I asked if my mum could eat in her room. She claimed it was unlawful, which isn't true because no other care home told us this. I asked an employee for help to locate my mom's call button, all she said was that it was on the wall and I should find it myself. I went home and had a long think about the whole situation and I called Elvira to tell her that my mum won't be moving in due to these reasons. Despite the fact that my mum wasn't there yet, she refused to refund our $500.00 deposit. I called the furniture company to retrieve her stuff, and they picked it up without any checks. I feel that was wrong. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Mum is now at Orangeburg Manor and it's a total breath of fresh air. I'm really happy with Tori and the team.

"A Wonderful Experience Overall"

My husband and I are very happy with all the amenities here and really pleased with the services for our loved one. Compared to other places, the price is about the same as other communities nearby.

"Affordable and helpful assisted living for Alzheimer's patients, with limitations."

It's a nice place. Some of the staff are really good, and some are just okay. We found this one to be fair and not too expensive for my dad with Alzheimer's. They've been working with me pretty well. We're trying to get his medications balanced out, and they're quite helpful with that. A couple of them are really nice and go out of their way to help him. He's only been there two and a half months, so we're still getting used to it. It's assisted care, so they try to keep an eye on him, but they can't watch him all the time. It's a secure facility.
