"Nice Facility with Some Issues"
This place looks really nice, especially the foyer and the lobby where people eat. The lady who showed me around was very nice. I saw a few rooms, though some were still occupied or needed cleaning from the previous people. There were some unpleasant smells not just in the rooms but in the hallways too. I know this isn't uncommon in care homes, but it did bother me.

"Negligent Staffing and Care Conditions in Assisted Living Facility"
I wish I could give this place zero stars! It's incredibly unsafe, no matter if you're living there, working there, or just visiting. The authorities are constantly there because of things that need fixing. They don't pay their staff enough and there aren't nearly enough employees for the amount of residents. The Memory Care and Assisted Living sections both never have enough help, which means there's usually only one caregiver for over 30 residents in Memory Care! If you call for other caregivers to come in, most of the time they don't even show up. Nobody seems willing to help out Memory Care and Assisted Living and I've seen caregivers from Assisted Living having to step in for Memory Care. There's a severe bedbug problem and so many residents have scabies! All management ever says is that it's from laundry detergent. They move the resident out and into another room, heat the infested room for a few days, wash all their clothes, spray their beds, and put bedbug covers on the mattresses - but they don't replace them. The infestation just spreads to the new room. It always happens like this. They're also starting to control how much food each resident gets, like they're children or something. A lot of the time residents don't eat because they don't like the food. The worst part is they removed a resident from Assisted Living and placed her in Memory Care because they say she was wandering. They separated her from her boyfriend and took away her two dogs, saying she was abusing them. Now she's always asking for her dogs. It's heartbreaking.

"Friendly Staff and Fun Activities Make This Place Great"
The staff here are super friendly. They keep my mom really engaged with fun activities, more than any other place we’ve tried. It’s been great for her. The only downside is that the building is a bit old and has some maintenance problems, but that’s a small issue compared to the overall positive experience we’ve had.
