The rooms are nice, but caregivers take a long time. We expected help with bathing and restroom, but it's not happening.

"Unprofessional Admin Throws Tour-Chaos at Assisted Living Facility"
Our tour of the place was a terrible let-down. We set up a time to visit and the administrator got in touch the night before saying she'd be away, but someone else would guide us and field our queries. When we went for our scheduled tour, the person she'd appointed to take us around was the handyman. He was a good guy, but he didn't know much. The girl at the desk was in the same boat - super polite, but she only had answers to some of our queries. I'm pretty miffed at how the administrator failed to handle this in a professional way.

"Friendly, Clean Assisted Living with Homey Feel"
We picked Sunrise because it’s a smaller place that feels like home. It’s close to our house, and the staff is super nice. The facility is clean and looks nice. My mom loves how friendly everyone is. Our caregiver had to remind them to clean Mom’s room and give her showers, though. Overall, I’d recommend it to others.

This place is lovely, but it's quite pricey—$7,000 and up for level 2. The security for memory care is very nice.

"Emeritus Excels"
I almost didn't consider Emeritus when I was searching for a place for my mom, but a family friend recommended it, so I decided to check it out. I was amazed. My mom urgently needed an assisted living home, and as a guy, I honestly had no clue what I was doing. However, Emeritus turned out to be a lifesaver. My mom stayed there for just a year, and she felt safe, warm, and healthy. Her condition even improved significantly during that time, thanks to Emeritus. Their menu and medication plan are excellent, and I had complete confidence in the staff. Nisha, the head nurse, runs a fantastic team and was always helpful. Now, as my dad might need a place soon, I'll definitely consider Emeritus and Nisha first.

"Friendly staff, clean, bright, and lively community."
The staff here is friendly and caring. During my visit, this place had a better vibe than others I saw. It felt brighter and more welcoming, which made me comfortable. They keep everything clean—every time I’ve visited, it’s been spotless. I even had lunch there once, and it was pretty good. They offer activities for all mobility levels, screen movies, have pizza parties, and bring in entertainers. I recommend this community to other families.

"Great Changes and Cozy Atmosphere at This Assisted Living"
I've noticed great changes in my Uncle since he moved here. The place feels like home, his room is cozy, and I feel confident he's safe in the memory unit, especially with his sundowners. The staff are awesome at including him in special events and taking him outside to the courtyard. He's also started eating better and likes the food. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Great Staff and Amenities; Not Right for My Mom"
I recently toured this place for my loved one. The staff were on time and answered all our questions well. The place was clean, and they had lots of cool stuff for everyone. I'd suggest it to others, but it didn't suit my mom.

"Perfect Care and Comfort at Sunrise Assisted Living"
I can’t say enough good things about Sunrise! Since my mom moved in, everything has been great. Even though Mom is very particular, she loves her room and feels respected by the staff. They are incredibly quick to respond and very flexible. The place is clean and well-kept. The meals are good, though they vary a bit, Mom seems to enjoy them overall. We first put Mom in assisted care, but she wasn’t adjusting well. The staff recommended moving her to memory care, and it turned out to be the right choice. We thought she’d be happier in the 3-4 room suite, but she actually loves her single room in Reminiscence. We couldn’t be happier with Sunrise for Mom. It’s hard to trust someone else with a loved one’s care, but we’re sure she’s in the best hands! If I could, I’d give Sunrise a 10 out of 5!

"Bright and Welcoming Assisted Living Facility"
Our visit to Sunrise was really nice. The rooms are bright, and the bathrooms are big enough for wheelchairs. They have yummy food options, and the dining room has big windows and doors with a view of a pretty garden. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the residents all seem happy. They have lots of different activities for residents, and they make sure they suit everyone's needs. It's a bit expensive, but it's still one of our top choices.

"Comfortable Community"
The staff was awesome, and the place is beautiful. It's a fancy and large community. My mom wouldn't have had her own room here. The food looked really good. The staff was super nice and helpful. They had fun things to do if you wanted. We would have liked this place for mom and think other families would too.

"Great place for seniors with caring staff and beautiful surroundings!"
This place is really nice. Most of the people who work here are really nice. The person who takes care of telling people about the place is really great. My mom really likes the food. The place where people live is always clean and pretty. They have things to do every day, and the people who work here always try to get my mom involved. They recently changed the inside garden from grass to rocks and wood chips. I think this is a good place for people to live.

"Great Place for Dad's Respite Stay"
We're staying here for a break, and it's been nice for my dad. The staff are really good and try hard. They listen to us and talk back quickly. Dad eats a lot, sometimes too much, but they give him smaller meals. It's a bit expensive, but still worth recommending.

"Nice place, but pricey. Wanted more social atmosphere. Memory unit available."
I visited here when I was checking out places. I thought it was nice, but it cost a lot. It felt cozy and familiar, like a small town, but we wanted somewhere with more people to hang out with. They did have a special area for people with memory issues.

It is a bit expensive, but they do offer good services. My mom lives there and really enjoys it. She feels like it's her home, which she didn’t feel at other places. The atmosphere is very cozy. She is happy and comfortable there. They also make family feel welcome, which makes visiting easier.

"Great place, but too pricey!"
We visited this place while searching for care for a loved one. I was really impressed! The facility looked nice and was well-maintained. The staff were all very friendly. I was especially impressed by their dementia care unit; it was clear they put a lot of thought and effort into it. Sadly, it was too expensive for us.

"A Wonderful New Home for Dad, Exceeding Expectations Every Day"
After my mom passed away, I looked at many places for my 94-year-old dad who has dementia. I picked this one, even though it's pricier than others, because of the excellent care. The staff is really helpful, understanding, and friendly. The two-room suite we chose is spacious and nice. The staff even helped us move in his old furniture while he was out. I love how it feels more like home instead of an institution. The dining room is roomy, and the chairs are comfy for seniors with arms and wheels on the carpet, which makes it easier for them to get up and down. I've tried the food, and it's tasty. Since Dad moved in, he's enjoyed outings to movies, museums, and stores, plus there are lots of activities each day. We have a higher level of care here, and someone always checks on Dad if he's in his room. He’s adjusted really well and is happy to call this place home, even after living in our family home for 60 years. He still has his privacy and keeps his own lifestyle while being independent but with a watchful eye.

"Be Cautious: Pretty-faced Facility is Understaffed and Underdelivering"
Be careful with this facility. It may appear good at first glance but after settling in, things get gloomy. The emergency cord either fails to function or nobody keeps a check on it. My mom had to abandon her brother to seek out somebody for assistance after he was stuck in the restroom for nearly twenty minutes. They ferried my Uncle to the Hospital when he fell and injured his head, which would be acceptable unless he was suffering from dementia and was sent with no representative from the establishment to inform the physicians about the accident. The food offering here is disheartening, with the chef preparing meals during daytime, but no one reheats them for dinner so cold servings are a regular affair. Other inhabitants have begun to care for each other since if they miss meals, they need to request the staff to find absent residents. The personnel often act snappishly towards the inhabitants, and while it's true that some individuals can be demanding, isn't the staff's role to look after them? If cared for properly, the inhabitants would be less distressed and demanding. Be cautious of this place; it seems exceptional and everyone seems affable but they lack follow-through and are understaffed.

"Assisted Living Review: Small, Bright, Helpful Staff, Great Community Spaces"
This place is like others nearby and seems just as good from what I saw. It's smaller, with only about 75 people living there. There are plenty of staff to help out if needed. They have open areas for everyone to use, and the whole place is bright and welcoming. They even have outdoor spots and places to eat together. Overall, it's been really good up to now.

"Great memory care and friendly staff hard to choose favorites!"
I really liked this place, especially the memory care area. The person in charge of that area was so friendly Dad would really like her. It’s set up a lot like Terraces and they’re very willing to work with residents to make it feel like home. I’m having a hard time deciding which place I like better, Terraces or this one.

"Charming Place but Too Far and Studio Too Small"
I really liked the place, but the studio was a bit too small for my mom. The décor was super cute and everything felt really cozy. They had a little breakfast bar with food and coffee available all day. Residents could grab whatever they wanted when they were in the activities area. The whole place was charming, but it was on a busy street and too far from my mom's doctors.

"Mom Is Thriving and Happy at This Assisted Living Facility"
I think they're doing a really good job. Mom is very happy there and seems to be getting everything she needs. She says the food is a bit bland, but that might actually be good for her right now. She hasn’t lost any weight, so even if she says she’s not eating much, she must be eating enough. There are plenty of activities for her to do. Every morning, they give out a list of things like going on walks. There’s more than enough to keep her busy, so the activities are really good.

"Affordable Assisted Living with Cheerful Atmosphere, but Not Luxurious"
It's really clean, and they try hard to make it happy with big hellos. It's not fancy or anything, but overall it's way better than the place we picked before, but we had to because it's cheaper. He stayed here for a short break for about 5 weeks, and he actually liked a lot of things about it, but it was just too expensive for us to stay longer. It felt like they noticed him there. It was peaceful, kind of like an old people's Holiday Inn. It's a different kind of sad in some ways.
