"Responsive Staff and Comfortable Facilities"

This place has a really good team who answer our questions quickly and know what they're doing. The food is okay, the place is clean, and most things are good. The building itself is nice but a little old, but they're fixing it up. It's taking longer than we want, but they're trying hard to keep it nice. It's pretty, well organized, and easy for us to get around. They also plan activities and want everyone to join in.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff"

This is a great place for good care. The staff are friendly and always keep me updated on her progress. They serve a lot of good meals that she enjoys. They offer many activities, but she didn't want to join in at the time. We would recommend this community for good care and great service.

"Clean, Friendly, and Well-Run Community"

The tour was great, and I have no complaints. The place was clean and had a good vibe. The staff were friendly and ran things well. We didn't choose this place because it was too far, but I would still recommend it.

"Friendly and Professional Care at Sunrise"

My parents moved here over a year ago because they needed more care. They are younger than most people here, but they needed extra help, so we chose Sunrise. I am so impressed with how friendly and professional the staff is. The nurses have been a huge help and really understand my parents’ needs. The Care Staff who help with hygiene are so warm and caring. My mom has dementia and she totally trusts them. When I bring my parents back to Sunrise after outings, someone is always there to greet them at the door and help them. I like that it is a smaller, more intimate community. The residents are older and not very active, but the care they get is top-notch!

"Five-star overall, activities unknown."

I can’t think of anything that needs improvement at Sunrise of Fair Oaks. I gave them a five-star rating overall and all their categories also get five stars, except for activities, because I don’t know much about them.

"Simply the Best!"

They are awesome. What I love most is that the staff have been there forever. They always know your name and treat you like family. I want to live there. They are definitely the best and set the standard for all other places.

"Friendly but pricey; not within our budget."

We toured this place while searching around. It was nice, and I liked it. The staff were very friendly. However, it didn't fit our budget well, so it wasn't the best choice for us.

"Attractive facility, poor management: Not Worth the High Cost"

Sunrise Assisted Living facility is stunning, but falls short in the area of effective care staff management. Many times, it seems like no one takes responsibility when care plans aren't properly followed. This leads to the family having to step in, which shouldn't be the case considering the high monthly cost of 5k. Even though there are plenty of activities presented, the residents don't seem as excited or involved as you would anticipate. This assisted living community mainly consists of elderly residents who are in their 80s, they can't look after themselves but are not quite ready for full nursing care. So in our view, Sunrise is good-looking but not really worth the hefty price.

"Caring, Capable Staff and Great Food"

I think they are very caring and capable. Overall, it’s a great place. I've eaten there a few times, and the food is really good. The people are the best, and they've been great.

"Great tour with Sarah. Learned a lot!"

I had a great tour with Sarah and learned a lot! The place is close to church, so we can bring him there on Sundays. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. They have great activities and encourage visitors and family involvement. I also visited Sunrise Carmichael. It was very noisy in the dining area, but it was dinner time. There was a dog and other pets around too. (I'd have to check with R. if he likes pets around.) They have three separate 'communities.' It's close to work, so I can visit during breaks.

"Outdated Sunrise Facilities with Tiring Environment & High Price"

This Sunrise place is pretty old. The common areas and rooms have a warm and cozy feeling, but the rooms for assisted living which are all studios are a little worn out. The staff members are friendly, but I feel too young to be socializing with these elderly residents. The outdoor areas are alright, but you have to go through disorganized storage areas to get there. It doesn't feel very safe. This place costs a lot considering what you get.

"High Priced 1 BR, Assisted Living Only, Limited Parking"

1 br apartments up for $150 each day - expensive! They only have assisted living, no independent. They said they'd drop the $1000 deposit if we moved in before Feb. 1. The apartments are super tight. There's hardly anywhere to park.

"Chose Cozy Home Over Corporate Feel"

Walking up the driveway, you see it’s all gray concrete. It looks old-fashioned. Once inside, it’s clean and okay, but it reminds me of a hospital place for sick folks. The people there didn’t give off a friendly vibe, and I wasn’t really a fan of them. My family had mixed feelings; some thought it was the best choice. They liked the big bedrooms and thought the place was good with paperwork and running things since it’s a big company. But I liked the idea of a smaller, more loving home better. In the end, it was a close call, but we went with the smaller, homier option.

"Friendly and Active Community!"

Everyone here is super friendly. They know my name and my mom's name, which is really nice. They have movie outings, shopping trips, socials, bingo, and games. It seems like a pretty active place. My mom really likes it. The staff is easy to work with and there are plenty of them around, especially compared to other places we've been. It's great to know there's always someone ready to help. The staff knows everyone. It's fantastic!

"Decent place with a companion suite."

Pretty good. They've got a room for friends. The nurse is around six days a week, eight hours a day, but they might not handle all the shots.

"Great location, friendly staff, and fun activities for Mom"

I really liked their location and layout. There wasn't a lot of outdoor space, but they had plenty of activities like trips to the movies, theater, and casinos. My mom would really enjoy all these activities. The staff were friendly and caring, and there were enough staff members to help everyone.

"Great staff, nice rooms, and perfect location"

This place is nice and in a great spot. The staff is the best part—they really know the residents. The residents talked to me and seemed to like it here. The rooms are good too. It's definitely on my short list.
