"Pushy Sales Experience Overshadows Beautiful Community"
Our family visited Sunrise of Fresno. It's pretty, but the person we talked to was too pushy.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living with Hospitable Staff"
My mother-in-law didn't join in activities, preferring solitude. The care quality was mostly good, but the staff weren't always coordinated. She needed more care than typical here; maybe a nursing facility would've suited her better, though she refused. I don't think she ever adjusted to being there. Her health worsened fast, and we lost her after 3 1/2 months. We don't blame the facility; they supported us well when hospice was needed and during her care. Overall, it's a great place. With better health, she might have done well there. If I needed it, I'd choose this facility without hesitation.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
We've been here for about 6 months now. The place is going through changes because of new ownership, which has affected the ratings. But as a registered nurse, I feel my mom is safe and well taken care of.

"Limited options, average quality."
We chose this place because it was the only option. It's okay.

"Nice Place, But Prefers Cozier Home Feel"
I visited this place and it was pretty good on the whole. It’s a large place and the way it’s arranged wasn’t my favorite, but that’s just my own taste. We wanted a place that was tinier and had a cozy, homey vibe. The cost here is much more than what we saw at other spots. Still, it might be perfect for someone who likes this type of setting.

Even though the staff changes a lot and it can be confusing sometimes, they really care about our loved one.

"Nice place, but too expensive for self-pay options"
This community was really nice, but it was too pricey for us. Cost was a big issue because we’re paying on our own.

"Neglect and Harm at Assisted Living Facility"
It’s disheartening that this facility claims to prioritize residents’ well-being, yet my dad experienced a fall on his very first day due to communication lapses. Later, severe dehydration led to another ER visit. The final straw? A fellow resident assaulting my father in his own apartment. Unacceptable care indeed.

"Clean, organized assisted living with spacious areas."
I found the staff to be well-organized during our facility tour. They shared valuable information and patiently answered our questions. The property was clean, and I appreciated the spacious dining room and common areas. Although it wasn't the right location for us, I'd recommend it.

"Nice tour with helpful staff; not perfect fit for Mom."
I had a good experience on the tour of this community. The staff arrived on time for our appointment and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. I liked how open the layout was, and the amenities they offered for the residents. However, ultimately, it wasn't the best choice for my mother.

"Wonderful care and staff, top choice for long-term needs"
We are really happy with the care my mom gets at Sunrise. She loves the food and the staff. They are very patient and kind to her. The administrative staff are great to work with too. Even though this is just a one-month respite care, we will definitely think of this place first if we need long-term care.

"Bright Tour with Room Concerns"
This tour was one of our favorites among the different facilities we explored. The entrance is bright, and there are plenty of great amenities for residents throughout the building. However, I didn't like how the bedrooms were arranged in the memory care area, especially the lack of dividers in shared rooms.
