"Communication Gap at Cogir Assisted Living"
Cogir has nice folks, and they try hard. Staff are more patient and skilled now. But I have to reach out to know how Dad’s doing; they don’t update me.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Modern Update"
The visit to Cogir of San Rafael was alright. However, the place seemed kinda old-fashioned for what we like.

"Assisted Living Facility Transition Disappoints Long-Term Resident"
Mom has lived here for 5 years. In March, it changed from Sunrise to Cogir. The new management from Cogir is not good. They don’t communicate well, and things are getting worse. The staff is nice, but they lack proper training. They're friendly but not skilled. There’s too much TV time, and evenings are dull. Also, the walks stopped since Cogir took over.

"Cozy Facility with Friendly Staff but Limited Meal Options"
This place is kinda small and doesn't have much outdoor space. The people who work here are nice, and the rooms are good. But you only get meals at certain times.

"Informative and Pleasant Visit"
I had a good experience during my visit to this community for my wife. The staff were punctual for our appointment and gave us plenty of helpful information, and they answered all our questions. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would recommend them to anyone.

"Not the Best Fit, Friendly Staff but Facility Concerns"
I visited Sunrise of San Rafael. My tour wasn't top-notch. Some things didn't suit my loved one. The guide was nice and shared useful info, but it wasn't ideal for us.

"Disappointing Visit to Sunrise of San Rafael"
When I visited the Sunrise of San Rafael, it made me feel really sad. I wouldn’t think about choosing it because the place was awful. The hallways were long and dark, and it just wasn’t the right fit for us.

"Understaffed assisted living facility struggles to meet residents' needs."
The place doesn't have enough people working to help all the old folks who live there.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
My feelings are split about this assisted living facility. On the bright side, my mom's room was spacious with a stunning view and windows that let in fresh air. Some nurses were really good and paid attention to her needs. But, there were issues. Mom stayed for three weeks, and I had to ask them to do her laundry three times in two weeks. I even had to take it home once. One time, they cleaned her up but left her bed sheets dirty. A guy working there told me the laundry person was on vacation, so he'd have to find someone else to do it. The office staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, weren't helpful, and I'm still waiting for them to call me back about a refund they owe us.
