"Friend Developed Sores and Fell Down"
My friend didn't have a good time there. She's been there a few weeks, and I found out she got pressure sores and fell down. She never had sores or fell before. I'm really let down by the care she's getting.

"Food Quality Declined Despite Familiar City Location"
Everything is okay, but my loved one wants to leave because the food isn't good. We chose this place because it's in the city she knows, and we thought the food options would be good half the time. But now, the food isn't as good and there aren't as many choices.

"Ivy Park Assisted Living: Caring Staff, Beware of Costs!"
My loved one is safe and cared for at Ivy Park. The staff there are wonderful and generally do their best to be accommodating for residents. However, we've encountered constant pricing increases. The rent recently went up considerably, and the point system for services is also rising. Be aware that this happens regularly and needs to be planned for. If your loved one requires additional services, they are charged based on a point system where seemingly random points are assigned to each service. For instance, a severe speech impairment assessment results in 6 points. You'll pay per point (let's say $18), adding an extra $18x6 to your monthly rent. Hands-on assistance with incontinence is assigned a whopping 74 points, so factor in $18x74 into your monthly costs. Make sure you understand the care costs/point system when considering Ivy Park. Resident turnover seems pretty high.

"Compassionate Staff Amid Loss"
Sadly, my mother-in-law passed away after a month. She struggled to adjust and was moved to memory care. The staff were kind and respectful during our tough time.

"Oversized Facility with Sterile Rooms"
When I visited Sunrise, it seemed pretty decent, but I was taken aback by how big the whole place was. The rooms there gave me a hospital-like vibe. The windows had no curtains, only blinds, and the walls were plain with no photos or anything. It all felt really empty and cold to me. The dining room and other places looked a bit better, but still, I felt uneasy about the size of the place and the dullness of the rooms.

"Separate Building for Memory Care"
The memory care area is in its own separate building, which is great because the staff can focus on the specific medical needs of the residents there, unlike those in assisted living. There's also a courtyard where residents can relax outside. The facility was very clean, and I know they do laundry for the tenants about once a week. I would definitely recommend this area. They also have a monthly schedule with lots of activities to keep residents active, engaged, and energized.

"Top-Notch Care and Fun Activities!"
This place is the best of all the communities out there. The staff is incredible and has made sure my mother feels welcomed and has taken care of all her needs since she moved in. They offer great activities and even take them on trips twice a week. My mother especially enjoys the cooking class they have on site. Overall, this is the perfect place for her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

"Unpleasant Experience at Bradford Community"
I heard Bradford was just bought by Sunrise. They can't do as much as the other Sunrise places though. I respect that the boss was straightforward about not having enough workers for all our personal needs. Our tour felt too quick. The place seemed really old, not exactly filthy but certainly needing a makeover. There was a really nasty urine stench in the area for memory care.

"So far, a great choice with friendly staff and good food!"
So far, the move has gone smoothly. The only problem is my mom isn't sure who to contact due to a management change. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. I've tasted the food, and it's very good with decent portions. They even have options for special diets. There’s a Bistro with fruit and cookies for snacks between meals. My mom is starting to join in on some of the outings, though she was too tired at first from the move. I would suggest this community to anyone.

"Outstanding care and support from the owner during a tough time"
I want to thank the owner for his amazing service and personal care during this tough time. Being the only child and living far away on the East Coast, it was really comforting to know that my loved one was in good hands.

"Very clean, a bit pricey"
The place is super clean, and the staff is really nice. They have lots of fun things to do, and the care they give is pretty good. But it's kinda expensive, and I'm not sure if it's all worth the cost. I wouldn't bring my dad here, but you should check it out for yourself. Maybe your budget is different. Good luck!

"Smooth Admission Process and Caring Staff, Minor Spiritual Concerns"
I liked how the staff helped us get in smoothly. No big complaints about that. They were kind enough to lower the move-in fee, which was nice. When your parent is there, you want everything to be perfect. The care was okay. I'm not sure if they did everything they could, but they did try to meet our requests. They checked on my dad every two hours. He needs a lot of spiritual attention, but they didn't focus on that much. I'd recommend it for most people. They didn't mess up anything. They were friendly and cooperative. Our situation was a bit different as we're Christian Scientists, but they were still caring. Nothing major went wrong. The room was really nice. The only way my dad could reach a caregiver was by going to the bathroom and pressing a button, which isn't very convenient.

"Assisted Living Tour Review"
This place was really cool. I liked how the people there looked and how they seemed happy. Lots of them were hanging out, all dressed nice. Later, I saw someone playing piano in the lounge, and lots of folks were listening. He was super smart and helped me a lot. The staff were pros but also really nice. They didn't tell me the prices though, which I need to know before deciding anything.

"Friendly Staff, Room Layout Lacks Features"
I dropped by the place on Friday, June 14th. The people were super nice. But the room designs didn’t match what we needed. They were set up like one big room without a separate kitchen or clear areas.

"Highly Recommend Bradford Square for Loving Care and Adjustment"
Bradford Square was the best choice for our parents. The staff is friendly, caring, and professional. Our parents settled in well, which we were worried about. We strongly recommend Bradford Square.
