"Assisted Living Provides Safety and Comfort for Mom"
It's a good place for my mom. She lives in a nice community where she's safe and they take care of her needs. She has a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a small kitchen that's just right for her.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Improvements"
I like it here. Not everything's perfect, but the other residents are nice. The food got better with the new chef. Staff changes happen, but they're working on it with the Residents Council. I'd suggest this place to others.

"Great Activities and Friendly Staff at Ivy Park"
Ivy Park has awesome activities for older people. There are lots of fun things to do and exercises every day. The place is very clean and comfortable for my mom, and she is very happy. The food could be a little better. The staff is very friendly.

"Struggling Leadership and Communication Issues Plague Assisted Living Facility"
I had really high hopes for this place, but I’ve been super let down. The main problem is that the people in charge keep changing all the time. It feels like nobody sticks around, from the big boss to the folks who take care of us. So, when you need something or have a question, it’s like playing hot potato - you get passed from one person to another, or sometimes, nobody even bothers to answer you. Like, they don’t even give us a breakdown of our bills every month, and when we try to ask about it, it’s like talking to a brick wall. We end up with extra charges because they don’t bother to tell us anything. It’s not just one area, it’s everything from fixing stuff to running things - nothing stays the same. Moving someone you love into a care home is already really hard, and having to deal with all this extra stress about talking to people and getting help just makes it worse. We’re already looking for somewhere else for our family member to stay. Right now, I can’t say I’d tell anyone to come here.

"Ivy Park San Ramon Lacks Proper Staffing for High Needs"
Ivy Park San Ramon's Memory Care area is a newer facility. They're having some early struggles, especially not having enough employees. If your loved one doesn't need much help, it could work. But, if they need more daily help, I wouldn't suggest it right now. A lot of things were messed up so much that we had to switch to a different place - still part of Ivy Park, but we moved to where their Memory Care section is more experienced and has enough staff.

"Poor Care and Management at Ivy Park Assisted Living"
Ivy Park really let us down. After only three months, we had to move my 97-year old grandma somewhere else. The root issue was the amount of helpers Ivy Park had. They simply didn't have enough people to care for everyone living there. Grandma often had to wait half an hour, or even longer, just for help doing basic things, like using the restroom, getting meals, or getting ready for bed. We tried talking to the people in charge to resolve these problems. They seemed like they understood during our talks, but afterwards, nothing improved. Plus, the way they ran things felt confusing and poorly managed. Important info from doctors and therapists wasn't passed on to each and every shift of helpers, so the care was inconsistent. Bigger yet, the monthly bills didn't show any details, so it was super hard to figure out why costs went up and almost impossible to get someone to explain it to us. In the end, we figured out that the best thing for grandma was to get her out of there.

"Assisted Living Review: Ivy Park at San Ramon"
I live at Ivy Park at San Ramon. The staff is nice and helpful. The food choices are somewhat limited, but the Chef can adjust. The food quality is okay. The place is kept clean overall. At first, it was hard to communicate because staff changed a lot. But talking to staff has been good. I would tell my family and friends to consider this place.

"Great Staff, Inconsistent Communication, and Limited Weekend Activities"
I used to prefer a different community, but Ivy Park did a better job of meeting my loved one's needs. During our tour, we got some wrong information. Although pets are allowed, the family has to hire someone to walk the dog, and this service is only available on weekdays. My loved one finds the food uninteresting, possibly because it’s not made by the family. There are no weekend activities for residents. Care is available every week, but communication from staff is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s great, but other times it’s not so good. Occasionally, medication isn’t available, and the staff doesn’t always inform the family. The Executive Director is great to work with, and most of the staff are too.

"New management, wait before moving in"
The management has recently changed, and they are in a transition period. They have entertainment and activities for the residents. I would recommend waiting until the transition is over before moving in. Just give them a little more time.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Comfortable Living with Supportive Amenities"
I'm writing to respond to the one-star review mentioned earlier. My in-laws reside at this assisted living facility and have had a positive experience overall. Regarding meals, the dining room is reserved for residents, but visitors can join for a fee. This ensures everyone gets a seat during the two scheduled mealtimes, avoiding disruptions. During a recent visit, my in-laws weren't hungry due to a late lunch. We requested takeout from the dining room, which was promptly accommodated. This flexibility made dining convenient for them. Since moving in, both have improved their health as they no longer forget to eat or skip cooking. The facility maintains cleanliness with regular housekeeping and daily bed-making, which we appreciate. The location offers convenience with nearby shops and a scenic view of a creek and wildlife. An enclosed courtyard provides a peaceful outdoor space protected from wind. Though my in-laws prefer staying indoors, the facility offers weekly shopping and field trip options. Despite initial reluctance about aging, they have adjusted well here. The monthly cost of $8000 for a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment for two people is reasonable considering the amenities provided.

"Mixed Review of San Ramon Assisted Living Facility"
Sunrise Villa in San Ramon offers varying options for seniors. Low-income units provide basic amenities like a kitchenette with a microwave and small fridge. However, the studio apartments are quite small and might feel cramped. The move-in fee is waived, which is a plus. The one-bedroom units are spacious but might not fit a king-size bed comfortably. Unfortunately, there were no available units to photograph, and the wait time is up to two months. The studio apartment, around 393 sq ft, could be suitable for Dad, especially with a special price of $4,139. On the other hand, the one-bedroom, approximately 450 sq ft, is priced higher at $5,125, but it includes a full kitchen and options for independent or assisted living. Additional costs include a $3,500 move-in fee and monthly fees for cable and assisted living care, which range from $1,035 to $3,135 depending on the level of care needed. They offer dining with set hours and a variety of activities like trips, movies, and more. However, there are limitations such as no insulin shots administered and restrictions on taking residents to certain places like the Livermore vet hospital. They do offer a furnished guest apartment for short stays, which could be convenient for visitors. In summary, Sunrise Villa provides diverse living options with amenities and activities, but potential residents should consider the space limitations and additional costs carefully.
