"Friendly Staff and Great Interaction Make Sunshine Health Place Recommendable"
I really like how friendly the staff are and how well they interact with my mom and our family. I don't have any specific suggestions for improvement. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Health Place to anyone looking for assisted living.

"Lacks Clear Information and Barely Meets Basic Standards"
It barely passes basic requirements. They didn't provide an entry overview packet or details on costs before moving in.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Tour"
We met two staff members and toured two of four homes. One home stood out, being much better overall. Both homes were clean and sunny, but one had narrow halls. This would make it hard for Dad to get to the bathroom quickly. The other home had more space outside for Dad's plants, which was nice since he loves gardening. Because of the drawbacks in one home, I'm giving a middle-of-the-road rating. When we're closer to deciding, we might visit the other two homes.

"Friendly Staff and Impressive Programs, but Not Ideal for Dad"
I liked the friendly, professional staff during our tour. They answered my questions with detail and knowledge. The activity program and dining were impressive. Unfortunately, not the right location for my father.

"Caregivers disrespectful, unprofessional, not recommended."
The people who take care of things here are really rude. They say they'll do things but then they forget or ignore what they said. They didn't treat me nicely when I was there. If they acted more down-to-earth, maybe I'd think differently. But because they were so unprofessional, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone I know.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Tour"
I visited this community and felt unsure about the manager. The place looked clean and tidy. They offer activities, which is nice. Families should visit to see if it suits their needs.

"Sunshine Health Place evicts Grandma over payment delay"
My husband's grandma happened to be forced out of Sunshine Health Place. We had a chat with them about our money issues and they said that was fine and that she could live there and we could pay them when we sold her house. We happily agreed, moved her in, then out of the blue, the boss screams at us asking about the money. They acted really mean towards us then. Two weeks on, grandma ended up in the hospital and while she was there, we received a call saying she couldn't return.
