"Unwelcoming Assisted Living Facility Despite Cleanliness and Good Meals"
This place just doesn't feel welcoming towards families. Every time I'd go to see my mom, sure, the staff would say hello, but it never felt like they meant it. I kind of felt like they were trying to rush me out the door, especially if I showed up during meal times. One day, I was cutting my mom's hair, which they'd asked me to do, and the boss suddenly grabbed the scissors from me to finish up the job faster, so she could go eat lunch. The haircut came out awful, and it really ruined that special moment between my mom and me. On top of that, I don't think it's cool that they always have the TV tuned to the Hallmark Channel. If your parent is in need of Hospice care, it also feels like they're just too eager to move them along. On the bright side, the place is clean and neat, the food's good, and they make sure that the residents are clean and checked up on every day.
