"Peaceful and Engaging Assisted Living in a Serene Setting"

The big house has two floors and is surrounded by tall trees. There's lots of space outdoors for walking and it looks really nice. It's all gated and secure which makes me feel better for my auntie's safety. When I got there, she was joining in a "activity" that was like a jazzercise class for older people! It was nice to see her having fun with the other residents. She really likes the hot meals, especially the desserts. The lady who led the group class was nice and seemed to enjoy her job. The residents were outside in what looks like a park, with lots of green plants and shaded spots. It's affordable for our family compared to other places. There are people from different backgrounds and some of the staff speak Spanish too.

"Safe, Affordable, and Fun Assisted Living with Diverse Amenities"

The big two-story house is surrounded by tall trees, giving it a charming atmosphere. It's all gated and secure, which makes me feel better about my auntie's safety. When I visited, she was enjoying the activity, which was like a jazzercise class for seniors! It was nice to see her getting involved with the other residents. She really enjoys the delicious cooked meals, especially the desserts. The instructor leading the group class was friendly, and it seemed like she genuinely enjoyed her job. The outdoor area feels like a park, with lots of greenery and shaded spots. It's very pleasant. And the best part is, it's affordable for our family compared to other places. Plus, it's diverse, and some staff can speak Spanish.

"Dad's Health Improved Here"

Our dad lived here. He had dementia and lost a lot of weight before moving to the Manse. We worried about his diet, so we were glad he moved to this great place. He gained weight in a few weeks and his appetite got better. We think it's because he was around so many people. It was nice to see him more active since they have different events and activities every week that he could join. The caregivers were great and noticed his improvement too.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Clean Rooms and Enjoyable Dining Experience"

Regarding my mom, her shared room is consistently clean whenever we visit, even on surprise visits. The cook in the kitchen prepares good meals. We've seen all the residents enjoying dining together during our visits. There is also music playing for them on CDs. I really appreciate the staff and caregiver . Thank you!

In terms of my mom, her shared room is always tidy when we visit—even during surprise inspections. The kitchen cook prepares delicious meals, and we've witnessed all the residents enjoying meals together. They even have music playing during breakfast and dinner. I'm truly grateful for the staff and caregiver . Thank you!

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for the excellent care you've given my sister during her two and a half years at the MANSE. She’s happier and laughing more than we’ve seen in a long time. We truly appreciate the care and concern you and your staff show her. Thank you for making her life comfortable and ours easier.

"Highly Recommend The Manse for Assisted Living"

My mom has been living at The Manse. My sister and I moved her here after she was badly treated at another place in Vista. After that terrible experience, we searched hard for a good place for her. We picked The Manse because it has fewer residents, which means more personal care. The staff and other residents are friendly and interact well. We are very happy with our choice. Any concerns we have are always handled quickly and professionally. Since moving to The Manse, our mom is happier, has gained weight, and is less stressed. We strongly recommend The Manse as an assisted living home.

"Heartfelt Praise for The Manse"

My husband and I want to share our compliments and give a big thank you to The Manse, your office staff, and especially your caregivers, for the wonderful, kind, and loving care of our mother Dorothy. She fit in right away. It was an easy adjustment for her in her new 'home' with her new daily routine. The caregivers are amazing. Even though they each have their own jobs, they work together as a team and support each other. They have a special gift of patience and love that makes the residents feel safe and secure. They work as a tightly knit team, pouring out their care, which was well received by our mom and the other residents. We thank everyone for a job well done and for all your 'everyday' smiles for our mom. Please know that [name removed], [name removed], and I appreciate each of you so much. God bless you all. The Manse is a blessing and 'precious' to us all and the residents.

"Letter of recommendation for the MANSE"

My daughter visited my brother unexpectedly on a holiday weekend. She saw that everyone was clean, dressed, and the home was neat with fresh air coming in through the open doors. My brother seemed happy living there. He said the food was good, and the caregivers were kind. I would definitely recommend the MANSE as a great place for a loved one who needs care.

"Comfortable Home with Great Food and Value"

Two years ago, our uncle moved into this big, southern-style house. The grounds are beautiful and park-like, and they play nice music for the residents. The staff keeps everything clean and tidy. When we visit, the soothing sound of the waterfall is relaxing. Most importantly, our uncle enjoys the healthy food. Although he shares a large room with someone else, it’s a good price for our family. Other places felt more like hospitals, but this feels like home. The owner has lots of experience and genuinely cares about the residents. The staff seems happy to help. They also offer different games and activities daily.

"Great care in a home-like setting with excellent security."

Our grandmother lived here for a few years. We could visit anytime, which was great. The safety and security were top-notch with access needed for the locked gate. We felt she was safe and well-protected. She used her walker, and a caregiver would watch her outside. There were many tall trees, lots of shade, and vines, so it didn't feel like a hospital or a facility. It looked more like a home. Her room and roommate were comfortable. She even gained weight thanks to the full, cooked meals from the kitchen. The people were caring and took good care of her.

"Safe, charming, and great value with beautiful outdoor space"

We toured here last week and were impressed by the big, welcoming colonial-style house. The locked gate is great for keeping our mom safe, as she needs extra care. The gated area is very important to us. The cost also played a big part in our choice. She'll have a nice room to share with a friend, so they'll have fun together. The staff is wonderful, and we can visit anytime. She could be in the main hall, having lunch, or enjoying the beautiful garden areas. There’s plenty of outdoor space to walk around. We felt very welcomed, and the place has a charming feel.

"Care for family"

I toured this community for my mom's care. The staff was nice and friendly. They answered my questions about her care. The meals looked good, and they had many activities. The place was clean, and I would recommend it to other families.

"Unhappy review: poor hygiene, unfriendly, wouldn't recommend"

This place feels unfriendly and cheap. You have to wait a long time for diaper changes and baths. There's too much dirt from people. I wouldn't want my mom or dad to stay here.

"Avoid putting a family member in this neglectful environment"

Unfriendly place. Limited funds. Be ready for long periods between diaper changes and baths. Extreme uncleanliness. I wouldn't recommend leaving a parent here.

"Unsatisfactory Experience Due to Understaffing and Poor Care"

This place is large and packed with residents, with a noticeable shortage of staff. My experience here wasn't enjoyable. I feel like they simply don't have the proper tools, physically and mentally, to offer suitable care for everyone. Conversations between the employees and myself weren't always truthful. Eventually, I decided to relocate my husband because he wasn't receiving the quality care he deserved.

""Old House With Great Location Needs Better Maintenance""

This is a really old house in a wonderful location. It's disappointing to see the maintenance of the place falling behind because it could be so much better.

"Understaffed and Run Down: A Disappointing Hospice Experience"

A relative of ours ended up in hospice care at this care home. I need to express that this place is in a regrettable state. The main entrance just doesn't match the appealing images shown on their website. We had to register on the second floor which is tough for those with limited mobility. This place isn't relaxing at all. I would never recommend it for a loved one. The workers were friendly, but obviously overwhelmed, like most places.

"Perfect Care, Great Price, and Always Clean!"

We had our step-mother in another facility where prices kept rising and care kept dropping. We got a list of five places in our budget and decided to check out The Manse last, thinking mom might prefer a smaller place. When we drove in, we were impressed by how peaceful and beautiful the grounds were. The building could use some upkeep, but the friendly administration convinced us it was the right place for mom. We live far away but were very happy with the communication throughout mom’s stay. We were also impressed that the staff never knew when we’d visit, yet mom was always clean and well-groomed. The facility smelled fresh, unlike others we visited, and the care was top-notch. Plus, the cost didn’t keep rising. We are very pleased with the care and thankful we found The Manse.

"Review of Down-at-Heel Assisted Living Facility with Kind Staff"

The place is pretty shabby and badly kept up. Folks are friendly though!

"Feels Like Home: Personalized Care and Friendly Atmosphere"

This place is amazing! With only about 25 residents, everyone gets more personalized care and attention. There are more men here than in most places, which is nice. When you walk in, it feels very homey, not like a hospital. You don’t see linoleum floors or mop buckets everywhere. The staff is wonderful. They advise not to bring valuables because residents sometimes wander into other rooms and might take things by accident. This way, there’s no need to worry or constantly say no. There are lots of activities. I visited recently, and they were bowling in the living room! They even had someone from the animal park bring in animals, and they let me bring my dog to visit. It feels like an old fraternity house, and my loved one really likes it here. If you’re looking for a cruise ship experience, this isn’t it. I love the size of the place. It used to be a mansion, so the rooms are spacious. When I visit, people are often in the dining room having tea or eating, not just at set times. They are flexible with things like that. You really get the feeling they know your loved one here.

"Caring Staff at Affordable Place - Perfect for Mom"

We were thinking about possibly sending my mom there, and we really liked The Manse. It was really nice. The staff seemed to be really caring, and the place itself was pleasant. Plus, it wasn't too pricey.

"Home-like Feel on Beautiful 3-Acre Grounds"

I liked that it feels more like a home than an institution. It looks like a family lives here, giving it a cozy, home-like feeling. The grounds are very beautiful, with lots of space to walk around; the place is on about 3 acres of land. We are very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.
