The Norma J Home for the Elderly

"Very clean, caring, and proactive staff"
This place is really clean and beautiful, and the staff is very caring. It's in a good location, and it's a newer building. The whole place was spotless and smelled fresh. I also really liked the owner—they pay close attention to everything. They even planned a Christmas event for the seniors and are very proactive. They cook meals for the residents, which is great. Other places I visited felt more like hospitals, but this one was a much better fit for my loved one.

"Untrustworthy Owner, Poor Eldercare Experience "
Watch out, the owner is not as kind as she seems! It was truly a horrible situation. She's dishonest and can't be trusted to take care of an older, delicate individual.

"Cozy yet cramped, residents less active, caring staff presence."
This place is nice, but it's pretty small inside. There's hardly any space to move around, even the TV area is tiny. Also, the people living here don't seem very alert. On the upside, Loretta seems to know a lot about taking care of everyone.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Not Enough Active Members"
We didn't go inside because we were put off by the man sitting in a chair with a breathing machine. It's not their fault; we just wanted a place with more active residents for our young and mobile mother.

"Discouraged by sight, did not check out interior."
We didn't actually go in. We were kinda discouraged by seeing a man in a chair with a breathing machine. It's not really their fault, we just didn't give them a fair shot. We've been searching for a place with more 'active' residents since our mom's still pretty spry and gets around well.
