"Active and Spacious Living for Seniors"

During our visit to The Terraces of Roseville, it seemed more like an apartment than a place for older folks. It's larger than others we considered, spread across three floors. Many residents here drive and are independent, making it feel lively and youthful.

"Care over looks; staffing issues; strict meal times; turnover problem."

If you're picking, focus on care, not looks. Meals strict. Cleaning good, staffing low, turnover high.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

The boss is awesome and quick to help out. But, the apartments are old and need new stuff like lights, cupboards, curtains, and heating and cooling. Plus, the dog park needs more care.

"Great Experience with Caring Staff and Excellent Food!"

We’ve had a great experience at The Terraces of Roseville. The person we placed here is really happy, especially with the excellent food. He’s a big food lover, so that means a lot. The staff has been fantastic with his 2 cats. There’s one gal who visits his room, and the cats adore her—they always run up to her. Their kindness to the cats was a pleasant surprise. Although they’ve been short-staffed a few times, they’re very quick to respond when he needs help.

"Exceptional Care for Mom at Assisted Living Facility"

My mom received excellent care here. [Names removed] and the staff made sure all her needs were taken care of.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"

This place is not doing well right now. They don't have enough staff, and the management and all the workers have changed. It's not good. My mom isn't getting the help we're paying for, so she's having a bad time. The place is clean and nice, but the food used to be good, and now it's not. I wouldn't tell anyone to go here until they fix things.

"Failed Promises and Dangerous Care"

My mom got sick and went to rehab. When she was supposed to come back to her home, they checked her and said everything was good and they could help her with everything she needed. However, they couldn't help her at all, so I had to stay with her for 7 weeks because they couldn't do anything for her. It was really unsafe for her. They said they could handle her medicines but they made mistakes with them. The workers were rude and it was a bad experience.

"Dad's Happy, Some Concerns"

My dad really likes his new apartment at Terraces. He thinks the food is great and enjoys some of the activities they have planned. It's kind of strange, though. Terraces feels like a hotel, but residents have to bring their own toilet paper. Weird, right? There's hardly any parking for visitors, especially for people with disabilities. It took a while to get the laundry sorted out. Once they showed the housekeeping staff how to make up a day bed, that was fine too. But I'm still getting used to how they organize things here. When you ask for help, sometimes you're told, "That's not my job," and have to talk to someone else. It can be confusing and annoying to get different answers from different employees. I gave them four stars instead of five because they need to vacuum the hallways and elevators more often. I saw the same dirt and leaves there for over two weeks. When I mentioned it, they said they were too busy and that the wind blows leaves in anyway. I don't know why they don't clean up carpet stains in the common areas. Maybe they need to hire more staff. Overall, we're happy with Terraces. As long as my dad is happy, I'm happy.

"Inadequate staffing and administration overshadow decent care at The Terraces."

My mom's okay at The Terraces, but I'm not fully happy with it. Sometimes, they only have one caregiver for a lot of people, like 70. Some caregivers quit because they have too much to do, which is sad because they're great with my mom. Even though there's no law saying how many caregivers there should be, there is a law saying they have to keep residents safe and well. Sometimes my mom needs help, but it takes forever for someone to come because they don't have enough staff. That's not okay. The person in charge, [Name removed], hardly ever smiles and seems unfriendly. She doesn't seem to care about the residents or their families for real. If someone you love is at The Terraces, you need to watch out for their care, bills, and how they're doing. Sadly, many elderly people don't have anyone to do this for them, and it seems like The Terraces knows that.

"Great Place for Health and Happiness at The Terraces"

I've been so much happier since moving to The Terraces. I feel healthier both physically and mentally. The excellent meals and friendly residents are a big part of that. I'm really glad I chose to live here and hope I can stay here for a long time.

"Good Activities, Food and Cleaning Can Improve"

My grandma can do things on her own and doesn't need extra help right now. But I've noticed that the people who clean and work in the kitchen don't stick around for long. The place has lots of fun stuff to do and the other older folks are friendly. The food and cleaning services really need to get better though.
