"Neglectful Treatment and Lack of Care at Assisted Living"
You should avoid putting your family member in this facility. The nurse lacks kindness; she's dishonest and dictatorial. She's comfortable letting your loved one experience discomfort. She is stingy across the board. It was 112-degree weather and my family member wasn't given permission to use the air conditioning in his room. And if we tried using the water cooler, she’d actually shut off the power! Believe it or not, she would shut down the power! My family member didn't even get the basics like a sponge bath or oral hygiene. How can someone operate a place like this? It's quite unprofessional. The owner is only in it for the money.

"Unsatisfactory Visit to Assisted Living Home"
I visited this place and wasn’t happy with it. It felt gloomy and wasn’t clean. The owner was supposed to meet us, but she had a schedule mix-up. The man working there didn’t seem to know much about the place’s daily running. I wouldn’t feel good about having my mom stay there.

This is an amazing place! We are so glad we chose a smaller facility for our loved one. The care and love here are unmatched. The attention they gave brought us real peace of mind. The food was great, and they worked hard to improve every part of our loved one’s life. We are forever thankful!

"Best care in Redlands!"
We think it's the best place in Redlands. Our friends say it's better than the 14-bed facility they use. This place is very clean, attentive, and trustworthy. Our family member is well cared for, and any issues are quickly fixed.

"Amazing Care for My Mom with Dementia"
I feel so lucky to have found Tuparan Residential Care through A Place for Mom. My mom has advanced dementia, and this place is perfect for her. The home is beautiful, and they serve amazing meals that my mom loves. It’s in a nice neighborhood, and they really care about their residents. With only 5 residents, my mom gets great one-on-one care. I saw changes in her within a week! She started getting up off the sofa on her own, using a walker again, and she’s no longer wheelchair-bound. My mom needs help with all her care, and the staff is so patient and kind. They’ve taken a big burden off my shoulders. I definitely recommend Tuparan Residential Care for anyone who needs help caring for their loved ones.

The place is clean and beautiful. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. While my father was under hospice care for a short time, I found this place to be an amazing and loving environment for his final days. I can’t thank Administrator Lori enough for the care and kindness she showed to my dad and our family. I highly recommend this place for your mom and dad.

The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. During my father's short stay under hospice care, I found this place to be wonderful for his final days. The place was spotless and everything was in order. I only bumped into 3 people living there. Their only scheduled activity seems to be walks in the morning, and possibly, the afternoon as well.

"Deceptive Practices and Poor Communication Mar Assisted Living Experience"
My grandpa stayed here for 18 days. We don't recommend it for three reasons: 1. The owner, who is also the nurse, told us to lie about how much we were paying to the advisor so she could pay less to the referral agency. 2. The owner wouldn't let us put my grandpa in his geri-chair. When we talked to the hospice case manager, the owner said we didn't want him in the chair or socializing with other residents. 3. Even though she said she was checking on him often because he was actively dying, she didn't call us until he had already passed away. We moved him here so we could be close, but we weren't informed. We felt uncomfortable with the lies and started looking for another place soon after. But he passed away before we could move him. We didn't like the nurse or the hospice doctor she used. We wouldn't want anyone else to be kept away from their loved ones during their last moments. Our past experiences were different - we were always told when the end was near. We expected the same professionalism here, but we were let down. The two support staff were nice. One is the owner's son and the other is a young lady. The owner is friendly too. The lying issues came up after we had already paid for six weeks of care.

"Caution: Deceptive Practices and Lack of Empathy"
My Grandpa only lasted 18 days in this assisted living home. We can't advise anyone else to use it, for three big reasons: 1. The person who owns the place, who's also a nurse, wanted us to lie. She told us to tell the Advisor that we were only paying half of what she actually charged. This was to lower the price she had to pay to the people who referred us. 2. The owner wouldn't let my Grandpa use his geri-chair. This made it impossible for him to get out of bed. We talked to the hospice case manager about it. She was told by the owner that it was us who didn't want Grandpa out of his room or interacting with others. 3. She said to me that she knew my Grandpa was dying. She told me she was going by his room all the time. But she didn’t get in touch with us until after he had passed away. We had brought him here from out-of-state so we could be with him in his final days. We felt so uneasy about the lies that we started looking for a different place for Grandpa. But he passed away before a room was available somewhere else. We didn't think the nurse or the doctor she used cared for our wishes and values. *We wouldn't want anyone else to experience being denied from being with their loved one in their final moments. We were always informed when our elders were close to passing in our past experiences. We expected the same consideration here, but we didn’t get it. *The two other staff members were nice. One of them is the son of the owner, and the other is a young woman. The owner is friendly and chatty, too. But the dishonesty started after we had already paid for six weeks.
