"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
The people who live here and the workers were nice. I would say to other families that if they want to feel like a money machine, this is the right place. The workers were nice, but the bosses made me feel like my mom was just a paycheck, not a person.

"Facility Review: Pricey but Top Choice with Great Staff and Activities"
Looking back, I realized I should've asked, "Does this price cover everything?" They often tack on extra costs, which can add up. Overall, though, I still believe it's the best place around here. It's just pricier than I expected. The staff are always polite, smiling, and pay attention to us. The food always looks good, and they offer a lot of different things on the menu. They give us plenty of activities to choose from, too.

"High cost, low privacy and lack of activities at Carefield"
Carefield Castro Valley was a total nightmare. It was completely different from the place we ended up picking. Even though it was more expensive, it still felt like a chilly hospital room. We had to share a bedroom and one bathroom. There wasn't any privacy, not even a curtain in the bedroom. Plus, there were barely any activities to do.

"Warm Welcome, Clean Facility, Few Concerns"
I really enjoyed the visit. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We talked to the Director of Activities, and she was very nice. The facility was clean, bright, and seemed friendly. I have a few concerns: we couldn't visit the memory care unit, which is what we need, and the cost is higher than we expected. But overall, we were very satisfied with the initial consultation.

"High Costs Outweigh Nice Facility"
I toured this "luxury" facility, and it is nice. But while the base price is reasonable, the level of care my father needs, plus extra costs for various things, made it a deal breaker. It’s just too expensive for us.

"Very Disappointed: Showings Paused Due to Facility Renovations"
Highly Letdown - Evidently, they just commenced refurbishment of the building and won't be able to give future residents tours for approximately 4 months; this was a place we were really considering.

"High-Priced, Old Assisted Living Facility - May Not Suit All"
This place is just an assisted living facility. Of all the places like this nearby, it costs the most. They want 244500 for two months, two more months as a deposit, and there are extra costs depending on how much care you need. It's also the oldest place like this around here. I was checking it out for my Dad, but I'm not sure he'd like it here.

"Eden Villa Review"
My father has only been at the facility for about a month, but we're both happy with his care. I feel he is safe there, so I don’t have to worry. The young ladies who look after him seem to really care. Anytime I've had a problem, it was resolved quickly. However, my father says the food isn’t that great.

"Well-Managed, But Too Big for Mom"
This place was really well-managed, but it felt too big for my mom. I think she'd be happier in a smaller residential home. She was friendly and easy to talk to.

"Assisted Living Facility: Overall Good, Nighttime Watch Needed More"
This place is pretty good overall. My father-in-law has fallen out of bed a few times at night, which concerns me. I think they could do a better job watching over him during the night. Other than that, everything is fine. The food is tasty, and he hasn't complained about it. The staff is nice and handles my questions well.
