"Friendly Staff, but No Medical Personnel On-Site"
The staff at this assisted living facility are generally very friendly and attentive. They keep a close eye on the residents' medications and quickly inform us if something goes wrong. They also provide various activities to help the residents stay engaged and build a sense of community. Each resident gets a buzzer to call for help, which is useful, but it often takes a while for staff to respond. However, there are no doctors or nurses on-site. They do have staff for personal hygiene and cleaning, but for medical care, families will need to find outside help or consider a different facility with medical staff available.

"Clean and Well-Maintained Assisted Living Community"
Our family got to tour the place in person. It looked really clean and well-kept.

"Slow response, great food, unexpected charges"
The only problem was slow response when husband fell. Food was great, but unexpected charges after move-in were frustrating.

"Caring Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
My parents have been at the Villa for 10 months. They are very caring there. We could visit whenever we wanted, and my parents always seemed clean and well cared for. They have many activities, but clients don't have to participate if they don't want to, which I wish they would. During Covid-19, we got to speak and FaceTime with my parents every week until the last 2 weeks when something went wrong, but they're trying to fix it. It's a good, safe, and caring place for my parents. Thank you, Villas of San Bernardino.

"Neat but Costly Facility Not the Right Match!"
The folks working there were real nice and took a good amount of time to walk my mom and me around during our visit. The building and grounds were impressive with lots of cool perks for everyone who lives there. It just didn't seem like it was the best match for us and it also seemed really costly for what was on offer.

"Exceptional Care and Comfort: My Top Choice for Assisted Living"
I have only positive things to say about this place. My brother was taken care of even better than I could have managed. They really understood what he liked and took the time to answer his questions. They went above and beyond to meet his needs and even added some nice extras. He always felt his opinions mattered. He loved the showers because they washed and massaged his back with warm (not too hot) water. The facility never smelled bad, like urine or anything else. I could keep praising them. I’d choose them again, and if I needed a place to live, it would be my top choice.

"Facility Denies Rights Despite Legal Confirmation, State Complaint Launched"
This organization, as of 11/15/2016, is wrongfully keeping my mom who has Alzheimer's, away from her family. They're not letting her talk to us or see us at all, even though she still has her rights and no court has taken them away. Even the officers at the San Bernadino police department are not enforcing the law - Lt. Afruiniti at 12pm on 11/15/2016 didn't do anything. The director of the facility, knows my mom still has rights and yet they. My lawyer talked to the ombudsman who said I could visit, but the Director still won't let me. We have filed a complaint to the state and are considering taking them to court.

"Wonderful care with great meals, fun activities, and safety!"
They’re amazing! They care for my father-in-law, do his laundry, and provide regular meals that he loves. He’s healthier and happier there. They welcomed us like family. They have many parties, ice cream socials, and he enjoys playing bingo. He can still drive and feels safe.

"Great activities, caring staff, and good value!"
There are lots of activities here. The residents stay active, and the staff really cares. It's a great place for my loved one. They know what they're doing, and it’s worth the cost.

"Great place with helpful staff and great food!"
It's a really nice place. They helped us a lot with getting my loved one ready for this big change. They gave us solid advice to make this move go smoothly. The food is excellent. We haven’t had any issues with the laundry service or parking. Out of twelve places we checked, this was the only one with a waitlist.

"Unpleasant Encounter at Assisted Living Facility"
We weren't really amazed by the place. It was quite a decent place, but I didn't like the way the lady behaved. It took me 15 minutes to reach there, which should've only taken three or four minutes, but there was a lot of traffic. I guess she was about to leave by 5:30 and it was around 5:15 then; she seemed like she wanted to wrap up and head home. I felt like she wasn't having a good day and she was upset with us for using 'A Place For Mom' because they would need to pay a fee.
