"Excellent Staff and Meals at Westmont of Morgan Hill"
Most of the staff at Westmont of Morgan Hill are really nice and helpful every time we go there. My loved one feels like they've made friends with the staff and other residents. The managers are good and keep in touch with our family. The cleaning crew and other workers are all friendly and do a good job. The meals are all high quality and mostly delicious. We think this place is great and would tell others to go there.

"Needs Better Food and More Activities"
This place could make some changes to make living here nicer. The food’s alright—it’s not amazing, but it’s not bad either. Another thing is they don’t have someone to drive us places. And there aren’t any trips to go on outside of here. That’s a letdown.

"Feels like a nice resort, great for my loved one"
The Westmont of Morgan Hill community seems like a fancy resort, which I really like. I've visited many places for my Mom, and Westmont is excellent. I visit almost every other day, so I see what happens there. I think they work hard to keep everything the same.

"Poor Nurse Judgment Leads to Sudden Facility Exit"
We got kicked out of this place only 2 days after we got my dad settled in. The nurse who checked him out first didn't do a very good job. They found out my dad had open wounds (which was news to me but his wife knew) and they made him leave the facility. I'm a nurse myself and I honestly think this shows really bad judgment skills from their nurse to say my dad could stay there when he clearly couldn't!!!

"Rural Charm with a Shopping Dilemma"
I enjoyed Westmont of Morgan Hill because it's a bit out in the countryside. However, they're constructing a big shopping area nearby, which my family member thought might ruin the view. It really comes down to your preferences.

"Comfortable and friendly assisted living close to work"
We picked Westmont of Morgan Hill because it's near my job. It feels more like a fancy hotel than a hospital. The staff is nice, though the managers seem busy. The medical and care teams are really helpful. The food is usually good, but they're having trouble keeping cooks and servers. I'd suggest it to others who are searching. It's pricey, but we've had a great time here.

"Affordable and supportive assisted living with on-site care services."
This place offers a Care Agency to help residents with any needs they have. They have Studio Suites for $3,054 and 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom apartments for $3,534. It's a good choice if you need help but still want your own space.

"Short-staffed and Struggling"
The assisted living place has friendly staff, but they’re stretched thin. Nights are lonely, food scarce, and service slow.

"Nice and clean, but costly"
I chose this facility because there aren't many memory care options in our area, and it’s closer to us. All the staff are really nice and they take great care of my mom. The place is very clean and looks nice. The only downside is that it’s pretty expensive.

"Memory Care Excellence"
My husband is doing great in the Memory Care, and the community is nice. They organize activities for the residents, and I often participate with him. The food is really tasty, and I usually have dinner with him. They charge me $12 for a full meal, which includes a salad, the main course, and a dessert. I'm also happy with the caregivers in the Memory Care—they're very kind and positive.

"Clean, Welcoming, and Great Location – Why We Chose This"
The first thing you notice is how clean, open, and welcoming it is. The location is great! Here are some things I recommend: Get a detailed explanation of the cost for each nursing service. Offer more meal options. Provide a variety of activities for different levels of participation. Overall, the location, cleanliness, environment, and friendly people were key factors in making our final decision.

"A cozy tour of a distant place"
This place is pretty new and it looked really nice. It felt like we were going into a mountain cabin. The folks we met were friendly. This place was just a bit farther than we wanted to go.

"Westmont: Mom's Happy, Good Staff, Tasty Food, Low Salt Options"
Mom likes living at Westmont. The people who work there know what to do, and we talk to them easily. The food is okay, and a lot of it is homemade. They give small portions and food with low or no salt.

"A Place for Mom: Excellent Help for Memory Care"
A Place for Mom was awesome in helping me find a new home for my Mom. She needed a memory care place, and they gave me a list of places close to my house. I am super happy with what I found thanks to A Place for Mom. She was really helpful with everything. She even told me that my Mom can apply for VA Assistance because my stepdad was in the Navy. I didn’t know that before, and it will be really helpful in the long run. I’m moving my Mom into her new apartment tomorrow, and I’m very excited. I think she will really enjoy living there. I would totally recommend A Place for Mom to anyone who needs help finding a home for a loved one.

"Needs More Staff, Better Food, and Accessible Elevators"
Good stuff: The building is new and has big rooms that include great extras like a movie room that screens daily films. Bathrooms and mini-kitchens were made with walkers in mind. Local stores are nearby and some rooms on the second floor have nice views. Not-so-good stuff: There aren't enough workers and many of them don't stay long. The food from the constantly changing menu isn't always tasty. Besides the Activities Director, it's tough to reach management. Putting the only elevators in one corner wasn't a smart move, especially because a lot of residents have difficulties moving around.

"Encouraging Changes Amidst Issues in Assisted Living Facility"
Lately, a lot of problems have occurred here. When new leaders stepped in, most beloved caregivers left due to the issues here. My mom is in the memory care section and, up until a fortnight ago, there wasn't even an activity director – that’s a massive issue for folks with dementia! People just sat in one room, then were moved into another; they were just sitting all day. The caregivers did their possible best, but they were always short-staffed. But, I must admit that in the past two weeks, the facility hired a new activity director and extra caregivers. My mom seems more alert and joyful now! I genuinely hope the positive changes continue.

"Fancy Features, Smaller Rooms"
The food was amazing, but it costs much more than Westmont in Brentwood. I was surprised that my mom didn't like it, considering how fancy it is. They offer all the extras, but the rooms are smaller.

"Westmont is beautiful, clean, and worth the price!"
Westmont is stunning! It’s a new building, so everything is fresh and clean. The suites are spacious. I loved it! The Director was very kind and helpful. She knows a lot about dementia because her father-in-law had it. The staff was friendly. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it!
