"Comfortable and Friendly Assisted Living Facility"
Our family member is really happy at Wildwood. She likes the food and joins in the activities they offer. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time we visit. She hasn't had any problems and has adjusted better than we expected. We're very pleased with Wildwood. The facility itself is also really nice.

"Caring Community with Room for Improvement"
He is really great and so nice to work with. Everyone there is really kind. I think they try their hardest to respond quickly when residents need help. I would tell others to check out this community. A couple of times they forgot to bring breakfast, but they fixed it fast. The rooms are a good size compared to other places nearby. The staff are really helpful. the staff at the front desk is really good at her job.

"Excellent care and activities make Wildwood a great choice!"
We moved our mom to The Villa 3 months ago and were really worried about taking her out of her home. The studio apartment was big enough for her to bring many of her belongings, which made her very happy. She hasn’t had a single complaint since she moved in. I live just 2 miles away and visit at all times, and the staff is always very attentive, making sure she participates in activities. We couldn’t get her to do that ourselves, so we’re extra thankful for that. I want to give a special thanks to [Name removed], her nurse, who was incredibly caring when Mom was sick for a few days. Before choosing this place, we checked out other options and asked many residents and their families about Wildwood. Everyone gave positive feedback. We made the right choice, and it’s such a relief to know that our 93-year-old mom is in good hands.

My loved one's doing well since moving here. Staff's great, care's good. Meals are fine, and she likes joining activities. I'd definitely suggest this place.

"Good Experience, But Not Ideal for Advanced Medical Needs"
My loved one's stay here was pretty okay. She got pneumonia while she was there, so we had to move her. The staff did their best to make her comfortable in the short time she stayed. We also had to leave because this place is more for assisted living, but we needed a skilled nursing facility.

"We found a good fit for my husband"
I’m really happy with the care my husband is getting at Wildwood Canyon Villa. He has Parkinson's, and the activities here are great—he loves being part of them. The activities director is amazing and makes sure my husband stays involved. They take him on field trips and keep him busy. Since my husband is on hospice, whenever he needs extra help, like after a fall or if his health changes, they call hospice right away and keep me updated. My husband enjoys going to the dining room, and I like joining him there too. The menu and food are really good.

"Decent Assisted Living Facility"
My family member’s time here was okay. Unfortunately, she developed pneumonia during her stay. The staff tried their best to make her comfortable in the short time she was there. However, we needed a skilled nursing facility, so we couldn’t stay.

"Great place, but the food needs improvement"
The place is great overall, but the food needs improvement. The meals aren’t very good right now, but they are working on fixing it. The food quality and variety are lacking, and there’s way too much pasta. It feels more like hospital or cafeteria food. Even though residents bring this up in meetings, the food problem hasn’t really changed. On the bright side, the activities are good, the facility is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. I would recommend this place, but they need to fix the food.

"Blame Games and Poor Service at Wildwood Canyon Villas"
Wildwood looks decent on the outside, but there are plenty of things inside that need fixing. The meals they serve are pretty gross. They never seem to own up to their mistakes, and trust me, there are many. On top of the monthly payments, Wildwood Canyon Villas also pressurizes resident's families to get private nurses. Whenever problems pop up, the staff somehow makes it feel like you can't trust them. What's worse is they tend to pin the blame on the patients and then start offering hospice services.

"Consider this option for assisted living, with spacious community!"
This place is really clean and neat. The people I talked to during my visit were friendly and knew a lot. It's bigger than the one we picked, but a bit more pricey.

"Good Care for Loved Ones"
This community is pleasant. The staff is great and caring. The food could use some small improvements in a few areas. They offer activities to stay active. I would suggest this place to other families for good care.

"Assisted Living: Mixed Experience for Loved One"
My family member stayed in the Memory Care section. We faced several issues. We thought he didn't always get enough food and drinks. Sometimes, it was tough to find the staff. He fell down a lot. The place looks alright and the area is fine. But, it's too expensive. Prices go up after evaluations. There's not enough talking between staff and LVNs.

"Expected More, Felts Costs High, Communication Lacking"
Our father-in-law was in the Memory Care section for some time. We encountered more issues than we expected. It felt like he wasn't receiving enough food and drinks regularly. It was difficult to locate staff when needed. Falls happened frequently. The overall look of the place is decent, and the location is alright. However, it's quite expensive. Prices go up when they conduct evaluations. Communication between the staff and Licensed Vocational Nurses needs improvement.

"Disappointing Care: Wildwood Canyon Villa Review"
Don't choose Wildwood Canyon Villa in Yucaipa for your elderly family. Some staff are nice, but overall care is not good. They promise a lot, but do little. The only good thing is the private rooms. However, dealing with them shows it's not worth it. They might take advantage of your situation.

"Beware: Wildwood Canyon Villa's Shortcomings Outweigh Its Merits"
I'd not suggest trusting Wildwood Canyon Villa in Yucaipa for the care of your older loved ones. Sure, some of the workers there are nice but the overall care doesn't cut it. They talk a good game, but they don't deliver. One positive aspect is the private rooms. However, after all that we went through with this place, even those rooms don't make up for their lack of real compassion. With time, it's likely they'll try to use your situation to their own benefit. It just isn't worthwhile.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises and Quality Care"
The people who run the place and the nurses say a lot of nice things to get you to choose their place, but they don't really do what they say they will. The caregivers are friendly, but they're not very good at taking care of people, and the care they give isn't very good either. They make a lot of mistakes. The things to do there are just okay. The food isn't prepared well. Sometimes the place is clean, but other times it's not so clean. They hurry to clean up when they find out certain people are coming to visit. It seems like you can't really trust the people who run the place.

"Review: Unkept Promises and Inconsistent Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The administrators and nurses here make promises they can't keep. While the caregivers are nice, their skill and quality in caring for people aren't great and they often make mistakes. The activities they offer are average. The food they serve isn't cooked well. The cleanliness of the place changes often and tends to be cleaned up only when they know certain guests are coming. The administrators don't seem all that trustworthy.

"Subpar Care and Bad Food; Assisted Living Facility Falls Short"
This place doesn't provide the quality of help it promises. The people in charge twist the truth. The folks working here are cool but their caring skills are not the best. There aren't enough workers. Food's not good. The recreation's fine but overall supervision's not up to the mark as they overlook simple care services.

"Thriving loved one with concerns; activities appreciated, supervision lacking."
It's been great. My family member is doing really well and participating in more activities than before. I'm a bit worried because there's not enough supervision at night. The food has been tasty. The staff, including the nurses, have been nice. I'm also concerned about the sign-out sheet; it doesn't have a spot for who's signing someone out, only who's leaving. Candy is really organized. We appreciate the variety of activities they offer for residents in memory care; they try hard to involve them.

"A little pricey, but everything else is great!"
Wildwood is very clean, and the staff are really friendly. They are organized and gave me a great tour. You can tell they care a lot about their residents. There are plenty of activities, and the level of care is excellent. The only downside is the price, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Everything else is fantastic, and I’d definitely consider this place for my dad if he ever wants to move.
