"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I visited the facility and talked with [name removed], who was really nice and helpful. The place was super clean, and the residents I met seemed happy. However, I found the layout confusing, and the cost is more than we can pay right now. Also, I wasn't a fan of the meal card plan they offer.

"Poor Care and Negligence at Atria Assisted Living Facility"
I strongly discourage anyone from considering this facility for their loved ones. Nearly 3 years ago, my parents became residents of Atria Assisted Living. Following my mother's death, my dad, currently 81, moved into the memory care section of Atria, where he's lived for over a year. Although the building has a clean exterior, the residents are being ignored. I, with two other family members, visit Atria twice or thrice a week. For residents in the memory care unit like my father, there are absolutely no activities. The options are either to watch TV in the living room or stay in their individual rooms. The administration disclosed that the activities budget is just $80 a month for fifteen residents, which is unused. This is shocking since my father is billed over $7500 monthly. Moreover, I’m incredibly worried about the medical attention given here. We had an incident where a resident had four broken ribs post a fall, but was only checked by a medical expert several days later. My dad had an aching back, and though ibuprofen was prescribed, he didn’t get it even after 4 days. The staff failed to follow up or inform us about the situation, leaving my father in immense pain. My dad is relocating to a different facility at month end. This new place costs the same but has more stimulation activities for its residents. Atria will surely miss my dad since he was easygoing and timely with his payments. It's very disheartening to see the rapid deterioration of residents at Atria. Many memory care residents are women who eagerly await our visits out of sheer boredom. The director continues to make excuses for the absence of activities, year after year. Though I don’t usually write reviews, I feel compelled to share information about this place due to my concerns for elderly people being placed here. This small review can't cover the full extent of the issues. Thus, I advise families to base their decisions on more than just physical cleanliness. Conversations with regular visitors may provide invaluable insights.
