Brookdale Boulder Creek

"Clean, Inviting, but Expensive Assisted Living"
Brookdale Boulder Creek really stood out from the other places we checked out because it was very clean. It smelled nice, and the furniture and decorations were up-to-date. The place had a warm and inviting feel. Our favorite spot was the outdoor plaza area. I do think it's pretty expensive, though. I would recommend Brookdale if your budget allows.

"Nice community but couldn't meet medical needs for loved one."
We thought this place seemed really nice. The only reason we didn't pick it was because they couldn't take care of all the medical stuff my family member needed right then.

"Friendly and Helpful Staff Create a Family Atmosphere"
The staff is awesome, very friendly, and helpful! I’m really impressed to see everyone pitch in and help when they’re short-staffed. We’re truly a family home. The chef always tries to accommodate everyone’s needs.

We now have about half the activities we used to get before the shutdown.

"Brookdale Boulder Creek: A Good Choice"
We picked Brookdale Boulder Creek because it's close by, and my cousin visited and liked it. The rooms are spacious, and she enjoyed the food during her stay. I'd recommend it.

"Assisted Living Home Prioritizes Residents with Greater Health Issues"
This assisted living place was a bit disappointing. My Dad felt lonely there and the staff didn't do enough to help him interact with others or join in activities. Information about events was put up in the main area but not handed out to all residents. It also took a whole week to get the therapists from the hospital set up here, only happening because another family member followed up. I think the staff tries to look after everybody, but seems to pay more attention to those with more serious health issues. The place doesn't have enough staff to cover all needs. I suggest visiting this place in person rather than just seeing photos online.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Community, Not My Match"
Our visit to the community was great. I noticed it was open and had helpful staff. They offered a few activities, and the place was clean. The staff was friendly, but it wasn't the right fit for me.

"Things are going okay."
The staff here are nice and helpful. The food can be good or not so great, depending on the day. They organize daily activities, and the place is kept clean. Plus, they accept Medicaid. You might want to check it out.

"Thinking About Future Needs"
When we were looking at places for my mom, we wanted a facility that had both assisted living and nursing care in the same building. This way, if my mom needed more care in a few years, she and my dad could be in the same building but different areas. Sadly, this community didn't offer that. It seemed older than most of the others we visited. The staff was friendly and the property looked well cared for.

"Not the right fit for us"
We were really impressed with everyone in the community. They were kind and eager to help us during our transition. However, when we toured the facility, we felt it wasn't the right fit. It's a big community with lots of residents, and since Mom comes from a small town, we wanted something smaller.

"Wonderful place for respite care!"
My mother stayed here for respite care, and it was great! I would give a score of 6 if I could. The whole process was easy; they sent someone to our home for the first meeting and evaluation. She enjoyed all the activities and had a lot of fun! During one of my visits, the Chef held a meeting with the residents to get their feedback and improve the menu. I will definitely send her here again for respite care.

"Highly recommend this friendly and clean facility!"
When we visited Brookdale, we liked how friendly everyone was. Now that my grandparents have moved in, they are still just as friendly and helpful. The place is very clean, and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering this option.

"Brookdale: A Positive Experience with Amazing Food and Activities"
We chose Brookdale for temporary care, though it wasn't exactly what we needed, it was still really good. The food was awesome! The staff was friendly. The activities were great! Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The only issue was the care level, but we learned from it.

"A Caring Community"
I really like this place because they offer a sliding scale for care. That means you can choose just the right amount of services you need. Plus, they're willing to keep seniors there for as long as possible instead of moving them to a more medical setting.

"My top choice but staying put."
She was interested in Wynwood but after thinking it over, she decided that her current apartment was just right for her. We looked at many places, and although Wynwood was a top choice for me due to its closeness to our home and reasonable prices, she ultimately chose to stay where she is. A friend recommended Wynwood since her mother lives there, and our loved one needs more care. However, she considered the extra costs for medication and care at Wynwood. Since her current place has low expenses, it works better for her right now.
