"Brookdale Falls Short; Mom's Basic Needs Neglected"
Brookdale promised us so much, but they didn't deliver anything. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. My mom was there for less than a week and we had to take her out because she hadn't eaten or had water for three days.

"Lovely Apartments, Friendly Staff, but Billing Issues"
The best thing about Brookdale Mariana Butte was the lovely apartments and friendly staff. However, we had some complaints. We paid extra for medication distribution, but they had trouble getting the timing right. Also, even though Mom was there only a short time, automatic payments kept being deducted after she left.

"Poor Communication and Staffing Woes at Assisted Living"
The boss and office folks don’t talk well, and the bills are a mess! The food goes up and down. People complain a lot, and it’s only kinda better now. Activities are split. There’s this cool part-time lady who works evenings and weekends—my loved one adores her. But daytime activities are missing because there’s no full-time activities boss. And the transportation? Terrible! The maintenance guy drives, so he can’t do his other chores.

"Amazing facility with caring staff who listen to residents!"
We loved the place as soon as we walked in the front door. The Marketing Manager, was fantastic. He was a great host who listened to our concerns and gave us feedback that made us feel "heard" and cared for. They have a program that focuses on each resident's personal needs instead of treating them like just a room number.

"Exceptional Staff and Decent Food"
When I went in, the staff was super nice. They really look after my Uncle. They've always been kind to me. My Uncle thinks the food is alright. I think other families should check this place out.

"Good staff and clean facility, but quite expensive"
I visited this community while searching for a home for my in-laws. It focuses on assisted living and memory care. From what I saw, they’re really good. The place is clean, and the staff seems nice. The only downside is that it’s quite pricey.

"A nice tour but small rooms"
We checked out many places for my brother. This one had smaller rooms and cost more. The staff were nice and professional during the tour.

"Feels Just Like Home!"
My loved one already calls Brookdale home! The place is super clean and the staff is really nice. There are lots of activities my mom enjoys, like day trips, exercise classes, baking, and crafts. We especially liked the private rooms and that we could decorate them to feel more like home.

"Age Gap Concerns"
I had a fantastic meeting with the community advisor. She was super helpful and understanding, explaining everything in great detail. I learned a lot. Overall, it was great, but the age of the current residents is much older than my husband, making it a tough choice.

"Stay involved for the best care."
We've used Brookdale Mariana for respite care while selling Mom's home. The experience has been good but could be better. The staff wasn't trained on how to turn off the oxygen tank, so it ran out quickly. I hope they've learned since then. I've dealt with many facilities, and it's important to keep an eye on the staff. I've had to remind them to bathe my mother twice a week and other things. It wasn't all bad. I plan to use them again for respite, but you need to be present for your loved ones.

"Everyone was super nice"
The Sterling House at the Orchards was a really nice place. It was always very clean. Everyone was super nice. The staff was very helpful. They do need to improve the activities, though. There were almost none, which wasn’t good. But overall, it was a pretty good experience. Everything went smoothly, and we didn’t have any big problems. It’s just a nice place with nice staff and nice residents.

"Great care and support, especially in final days"
Our experience with Sterling House at the Orchards was short, but they did an excellent job taking care of my loved one. They were always there for him and for us, and they went out of their way to make his last days comfortable. If you’re considering senior care in the area, they are definitely worth checking out.

"Very Happy With Community"
They're really nice people who work there. The aides who care for the residents are very kind and spend a lot of time helping those who live there. Joette is another friendly person who has been a great help. The only thing that seems odd to her when she visits is that the front desk at the facility is often empty.

"She has her own space, but med distribution could improve."
We love that she has her own space and apartment. The layout is nice, and the dining room is open with many tables for four people. Some staff have been here for 13 years. However, some aren't very familiar with medication distribution, and they charge a lot for it. Caregivers should understand the meds they're giving. There's a good mix of residents with different care needs.

"Amazing place with friendly staff and great amenities"
This place is amazing. While having lunch, a lady who knew my step-mom came by to say hi. The studio apartment for assisted living costs $2475 a month. Pets are allowed with a $500 deposit, but they’ll waive the fee as a move-in bonus. There’s an on-site restaurant. You need a physician evaluation with a 4-page form done. They also have a guest suite for visitors.
