"Avoid Castle Country: Negligence, Mismanagement, and Dishonesty Revealed"
This company, overseeing three establishments - Valley House and Cantril House in Castle Rock, along with the Victorian House in Parker - has shocked me. When they disapprove of an occupant, they tend to create a negative and hostile environment, seemingly to force them out. Troublesome residents often receive meager care and are mostly ignored. I've seen cases where their qualified medication administration personnel failed to give out required medicines and antibiotics for a lengthy period, and management often covers up such neglect. Management also coerces these personnel into situations jeopardizing their certification by not adhering to proper rules about medications. The care provided can be simply classified as below average. Staff members who show commitment and genuinely care for the residents are often let go, unfairly so, claiming complaints from residents and their families. The employees in general show a lack of aptitude and should not be in the health care sector to begin with. My advice is to avoid sending your relatives here at any cost. Their facade masks a stagnant and corrupt body. Moreover, if you value your licenses and certifications, do not work here. They've shown a willingness to falsify records and turn a blind eye. Castle Country Assisted Living will deceive to avoid being held accountable.

"New Staff Bringing Positive Changes"
My mom's doing okay at the place. Things seem alright. They take good care of her, and I've seen some new workers around. They seem like they're learning well.

"Mixed Experience at Valley House Assisted Living Facilities"
Valley House and the Castle Country Assisted Living spots have some good stuff going for them. They've got cool things, nice people, and a good vibe. he, the facilities guy, is awesome, and the management staff are friendly. We met lots of residents and staff, which was cool. They even have a doctor's helper, a hairstylist, and someone who takes care of feet. The food is tasty, and they actually ask residents what they think about it. But here's the bummer: We were really excited to bring Grandma here. We did everything right, even talked about bringing her pet. They talked to us about Grandma's needs and seemed to think it was all good. But after just one night, they told us they're allergic to cats and Grandma wasn't a good fit because she shook at lunch. They also brought up her past falls. It felt like they didn't want us there after we moved Grandma all this way. They're helping us find somewhere else for her, but it would've been better if they'd told us about these problems before.

"A Perfect Spot, Until It Wasn't: Hopes Dashed After One Night"
Valley House and Castle Country Assisted Living have so many cool amenities and really nice folks running it. We're talking about a lot of great stuff like an on-site doctor's assistant, a hairdresser, even a foot care expert. We also really enjoyed the food, and they always want feedback from the people living there, which is super neat. We were all very excited about the idea of my grandma becoming part of the Castle Country Assisted Living crew. We dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's—medical forms, check-ins with the nurse, everything. We even got the OK for Grandma to bring her cat with her. Very sadly, after just ONE night there, we got hit with some surprising news. All at once, we found out that staff were allergic to cats. And apparently, because Grandma was a little shaky at lunch, they figured she wasn't a good fit for their place. They also even mentioned her past falls as another reason why she wouldn't do well there. So, despite our big move from all the way across the country, we were basically told that she wasn't welcome anymore. It came as a pretty big letdown. Currently, their staff is trying to help us look into other places for Grandma, but it would have been way easier if they could've just told us beforehand about these problems.
