"Friendly staff and happy residents"

I am overall pleased with this place. The building is beautiful and always clean. The main reason I chose this community is because of the admissions director, [name]. She was so kind and listened to my mother's situation. When I toured, I saw her interacting with other residents. She kept in touch with me and showed real care. I knew my mother would be happy here! My mom loves her apartment and is happy to be there, which makes a big difference!

"Unpleasant experience with changing staff and declining quality of care."

We selected this community because we had friends whose relatives lived here before, so we decided to move our loved ones in. We asked about the community's rules, and they assured us that they had expertise in dealing with residents with memory care needs. This facility claimed to have nurses and caregivers to look after the residents. But in the last year, we noticed there were more caregivers entering my loved one's room than usual, and only one barely noticeable nurse for the entire community. The caregivers kept changing for our loved ones which triggered some confusion. We couldn't find any other nurses. The food, sadly, became terrible over time. It was challenging to get direct answers from the caregivers and staff about our loved ones' wellbeing. We sensed a shift in the service model from the administration. The quality of care that was promised to us when we first arrived was no longer there. The administrator wasn't pleasant to deal with, and gave the impression that they didn't want to interact with us or address our concerns towards the end of my loved one's time there. After everything, we decided to move our loved ones out of the community because our experience had turned sour.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Important Questions for Potential Residents"

The care quality and managing medications? Need a closer look. For those considering, I'd advise asking pointed questions about personal care and medication management. For instance, delve into the medication costs from the facility's pharmacy versus using your own pharmacy, along with the $[removed]/month charge. Inquire about the staff-to-client ratio in the resident area to ensure they can meet your loved one's needs. Clarify the specifics: What triggers a rise in care level and who decides?

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Staff"

Most of the staff were really nice and helped a lot. But a few didn’t do their job well.

"Pricey but great facility with nice presentation; not what we needed."

We visited Capella of Grand Junction. The facility was really nice, and they showed us around well. But it was too expensive for what we wanted.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living"

I recommend ensuring the community meets your loved one’s needs. I didn’t know there was no onsite nursing care. Staff communication was satisfactory.

"Improved Life at Capella's!"

We recently moved our mom to Capella's from another place. It's a new facility with a fantastic staff! In the few months she's been here, we've seen a big improvement in her quality of life. She's more involved in daily activities and tasks, and it costs less than before. The staff always engages her in fun activities, chats with her, and encourages her to stay active. She’s not only comfortable but also still enjoying life

"Great tour, but visit other places too"

Sure, here's the rewritten reviI toured this place and it was really big. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. The building is new and super clean. I liked the rooms, but I think it might be too much for my mom. I suggest families visit several places before deciding.

"Good but Unaffordable Upcoming Assisted Living Facility"

This place will be great when it's up and running. However, it's too expensive for us.
