"Poor Communication at Columbine Chateau"
My family didn't like Columbine Chateau. They hardly talked to us, and it was really bad. I wouldn't tell others to go there.

"Not quite the right fit for our loved one."
Our family visited Columbine Chateau for a tour. It was okay, but ultimately not the right place for our loved one.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
They're mostly friendly. Lots of activities. We chose it because I knew the nurse. They should put the rental agreement online because some things were missed. They need more staff for care services; it was one person for everyone except during meals. They were good at admitting my loved one, but they lack in accounting.

"Neglect and Mismanagement in Assisted Living Facility"
This facility is truly misleading. They neglect our beloved family members, leaving them in unsanitary conditions such as sitting in their own urine and feces. Furthermore, they seem confused about residents' personal belongings. Once, my mother was dressed in another resident's clothes while her clothes were on another resident. The food provision is also inadequate as they only serve small portions per meal. I've observed these issues personally and have repeatedly questioned them about the mysterious bruises on my mother's arms, to no avail. There is a high turnover of staff and they constantly seem under-staffed. Activities and outings for residents are non-existent. The residents' daily routine is monotonous - wake up, eat breakfast, lounge in the living room until 10 am, get a snack consisting of string cheese and water, then mill about until lunchtime at 11:30. This is followed by naptime, then another snack, and dinner at 4:30 pm. Their bedtime routine starts shockingly early - by 6 pm, residents are put to bed in their pajamas so that the night shift staff doesn't have to interact with them. Apparently, they are left in this condition, soiled, throughout the night.”

"Cozy and Close-Knit Assisted Living with Friendly Staff"
We picked Columbine Chateau because it's a small place and near my home. When I met the staff, we got along really well. The apartments are on the smaller side, and I think most people share a room. They arrange things so you spend more time in the shared spaces rather than in your room. They recently added flat-screen TVs in each room, which I thought was great. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a place like this.

"Careless Assisted Living Facility Disappoints; Neglects Residents' Needs"
They didn't take good care of our family member. She was always dirty. They sent her to the doctor in pajamas and dirty slippers, looking like someone from the streets. It was really embarrassing. Our family member said the staff were always on their phones and watching TV, and they didn't do any activities with them. I'm very disappointed in this place.

"Assisted Living Evaluation"
The place was tidy and cozy for folks living there. In both buildings, residents enjoyed TV. Staff was friendly, and there's a schedule for activities. Unsure if it's right for my wife now.

"Decent place, could use some upgrades."
This place is alright, just like many others, trying their best to take good care of everyone in a safe setting. It's clear that the staff is nice but they need to really follow through the stuff they say they'll do. The cleaning is fine but some smelly old furniture should definitely be changed. The food's not bad. Overall, the facility is good enough but they should certainly work on improving a few things.

"False Promises and Disappointments Galore"
The staff at this place basically lied to us. They promised in their brochures that they would organize trips to the casino for residents. My mom has been there for a month and hasn't been to the casino once. We're seriously annoyed because this is making her feel even more sad and she keeps saying she wants to go back home. The only positive thing that has come out of this is that she's made two new friends. I don't think anyone should consider bringing their loved ones here.

"Absolutely Fabulous!"
Columbine Chateau II is amazing. We really love it. My mom seems to be doing great there, even better than we expected. I'll be visiting after Thanksgiving to see it in person and learn more. So far, I’m very happy with this place.

"Serious Health Issues and Poor Communication at Columbine Chateau II"
I've dealt with serious health issues at Columbine Chateau II. If another problem comes up, I'm going to remove her from there. They don't seem to have a healthcare plan. The staff should have contacted me. I will give them credit though, the staff is trying tirelessly to avoid this situation in the future. They are being genuine and kind about fixing the problem. The facility itself looks great. The workers are extremely friendly and I'm crossing my fingers that things will turn out okay here.

""Poor Management and Care at Columbine Chateau: Find Other Options""
Columbine Chateau may have once been a decent place, but I'd be cautious about sending someone you care for there. It seems like there's barely any conversations going on between the bosses and their workers. The folks living there could potentially get harmed because they're not using transfer belts since the owner doesn't like them. This is despite us asking multiple times, both in person and in writing, for them to use these belts with my family member. The nurses' assistants required constant reminders from us on how to handle dietary and safety concerns. Plus, employees asked me about dealing with paperwork. The food there is mediocre at best and not always enough. Even though the owner said she would be actively involved in running the place, she rarely showed up. When she did, she was always buried in paperwork in her office. It's just wrong for a place to exploit families in need in this manner. I strongly urge everyone to look elsewhere.

"Steer Clear of Columbine Chateau: Unsafe and Neglectful"
Columbine Chateau started off well, but I'd think twice before considering this place for anyone relying on others for care. Communication between the owners, managers, and staff feels nonexistent. Even urgent matters like the safety of clients has been sidelined - no usage of transfer belts, and that's only because the owner dislikes them. Supposedly, this is regardless of our repeated verbal and written requests concerning my family member's welfare. Nurses and aides needed constant instructions from us about diet and safety issues. Shockingly, staff even asked me about their own paperwork. The quality and quantity of food is seriously questionable. The owner, who claims to be hands-on, is barely there and mostly just sits in her office doing paperwork. I feel this place preys on desperate families. I recommend seeking other options.

"Positive Care, Some Activity Improvement"
My sister is being looked after really well. The people who work there seem to enjoy what they do and make sure she gets what she needs. We were a little sad because there weren't many planned things for her to do, but that's gotten better lately. Whenever we asked for something, the staff always helped us out. It makes us happy to see that my sister is happy. At first, we had to pay a lot, but soon she'll get help from the government.

"Happy with Their Care and Cleanliness"
I’ve never been to other places, but I think they’re doing their best to take care of my mom. The place is really clean and the staff is friendly. I’m happy with the value because I can relax a bit more knowing she’s there. The care is good and they have lots of activities. They do different things, like taking them to the park and having activities in the house too.
