"Unpleasant Experience with Comfort Care's Unprofessionalism and Lack of Compassion"
I was attempting to find a suitable assisted living facility for my 52-year-old sibling, all the way from 1,500 miles in the distance. I got to know from the local authority that the owners of Comfort Care are a mother and daughter duo. I had their contact information but they got upset when I called them once, at an appropriate hour, to share crucial details about my sister's decision to move in. Initially, they were welcoming and had room for my sister. But then, they suddenly claimed they didn't. However, they came back with an option of a private pay room for my sister and we were all set with movers and more. But less than two days before the moving day, they withdrew their offer without any valid explanation. When I tried asking questions about the resident population and ages, they got annoyed instead of providing clear answers. Unlike other assisted living facilities with plenty of information online, Comfort Care had barely any details on their barely existing website. They were more annoyed that I was inquiring rather than appreciating a responsible guardian. They even demanded that they only deal with the local case manager and my sister, not any of our family members. Important details like the crucial move-in day and the first rental fee, which obviously my sister couldn't handle due to her mental incapacity, were only shared with her. When I found out and asked the case manager if the facility would accept credit payments, they blew up and got even madder. In the end, they decided they didn't want my sister residing there and cancelled everything two days before her scheduled move. In all, it wasn't just about my sister, they couldn't handle anyone like me - a sincere advocate for their loved one. They couldn't handle professional inquiries, always reacting unprofessionally. Although they'd claim that I constantly annoyed them with my calls, all I did was just a handful of calls. So, forgetting my initial intentions, I'm now content because my sister is being treated with true care and respect where she is now. Comfort Care, on the other hand, became unquestionably unprofessional, unpredictable and outright unkind.

"Caring Community with Great Caregivers"
I’m glad my mother-in-law is in this smaller community. They’ve been friendly and kept their promises. The caregivers are great, and they involve her in daily activities. She even gets her hair done on Thursdays, and the meals are good. I’d recommend this place to others.

"Genuine Care with Room for Improvement"
I think they really try hard to keep my dad happy, but of course, they have limits because they also care for other residents. You can tell they do care a lot about everyone there. There are a few things that could be better. They need more activities to keep the residents busy. Also, the food could be improved. It’s not the best, but I believe they are working on it.

"Dad’s New Home, Full of Care"
The staff at Comfort Care are really nice and caring. The place feels like a home, not like a hospital. My dad’s move went much smoother because of their kindness and patience. I’m so happy we found this place for my dad.

"Kind folks, but facility needs modernizing and better TV setup."
They're struggling a lot to set up the TV, which my mom isn't happy about, so that's a bit bothersome. However, everyone there is really kind. The place is basically an expanded house and could do with a little updating.
