"Dishonest Assisted Living Home, Poor Care; Transferring Mom Elsewhere"
The business component appears great, but it's not truthful. All they're after are your assets; it seems like that's always their main focus when you begin to sign the paperwork. I was told dishonest things to persuade me to sign the agreement. My mom fell 3 times that I'm aware of, leading to a broken wrist and back. They didn't bother to inform me. I found out only because her hospital doctor contacted me. For a place that's completely full, there doesn't seem to be enough staff. I'm taking my mom out of Harvard Square and moving her to a different residence.

"Staff Turnover and Slow Service at Harvard Square Assisted Living"
They don't answer call buttons quickly, but the staff is friendly. Since Cogir took over Harvard Square, staff turnover has been high. The food quality has dropped, and residents wait up to an hour for their meals.

"Friendly Staff and Okay Food"
The staff at the assisted living facility are really nice and take great care of my dad. I'm not sure about how clean the place is, though. I've only seen it cleaned once. I always sweep and mop when I visit! Talking to the family is okay because I'm there every day to check on him. The process of moving in was okay, but I was a little disappointed with their ambassador service. They didn't do enough to help him get involved at first. The food is just okay—it's often too dry or tough for him. Would I recommend the facility? Probably. It's a nice place, and he likes it there now! The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way for him.
