"Lack of Care, Safety and Decency at Assisted Living"
My loved one spent some time at this assisted living facility a couple of years ago, and I don't advise sending anyone there. At the beginning, it seemed to be a fine place, especially for someone with Alzheimer's. But things quickly went downhill. My relative once wandered away in the middle of the night without them knowing, and they gave several inconsistent accounts about what had happened. It wasn't until the police returned her that they realized she was missing. They didn't manage her medications properly, leading to increased agitation. They were also terrible at communicating with me about her situation. There were times where I noticed suspicious bruises on her, but the facility staff said they were due to incidents like her bumping into the door frame. Some staff members even had the nerve to ask to borrow money and requested me to be a character reference for car loans, which was totally out of line. Fortunately, we managed to move her to another facility that is excellent, and now she's doing really well.

"Worrying Change in Care at Assisted Living Facility"
My former mother in law was living at this place for a year. It initially felt like a good place for her. But in the last few months, I've noticed some problems. My mother in law got out unnoticed at one point and cops had to bring her back. The worker on duty had no clue she had left! Then, a couple of months later, she had a thumb-sized bruise and a skin rip on her upper arm. They told us she bumped into a door. But, the last straw was when I personally caught a worker cursing and yelling at a resident. I reported this to the police immediately and now, we're working on shifting my mother in law to a safer place.

"Hidden Fees at Kettle House Assisted Living Disappoints"
My representative was really nice. But, I was surprised when I signed up with Kettle House because nobody told me about the $3000.00 admitting fee. It wasn't mentioned before signing the contract. Someone should let you know about this fee beforehand. It's really expensive! Sincerely, Alexis J. Asseff
