"Mixed Feelings: Friendly Staff, Lackluster Activities, Medication Communication Concerns"
Overall, the staff are nice, though some aren't great. Maybe because of staff shortages everywhere. They should involve residents more in activities. Right now, residents have to find out what's happening and join in. The food was better a few months ago, but it's not as good now. It's a decent place, but maybe not worth the money. Communication about medications has been a problem. Be careful and stay on top of it.

"Mixed Experience with Friendly Staff and Room for Improvement"
The staff is friendly overall. Sometimes, the billing staff charged late fees mistakenly even though payments were on autopay, which upset my loved one. Apart from that, no other issues with the staff. Moving in was easy, and helped a lot with setting up the apartment. The housekeeping is okay. The food is usually good. They could improve by offering more transportation to doctors, adding more activities, fixing billing issues, and maintaining laundry rooms better. Despite these, I would recommend this place to others. Overall, we're quite happy.

My mom lived there from Nov '22 to Aug '23. Good: Some staff were caring. Bad: Oxygen and medication mistakes. No condolences after death. Buyer Beware: Lincoln Meadows in Parker Co.

"Extremely poor experience with assisted living, issues with medication and care."
Honestly, I don't even know where to start. We moved my grandmother to this so-called assisted living facility, lured in by the sales team's pitches about experienced staff, top-notch caregivers, and full assurance that all her needs would be taken care of. But we soon encountered issues, like incorrect medication delivery. It wasn't unheard of for her to not receive her pills at all - and worse still, they'd make her feel as if she had simply forgotten that she'd taken them. There were nights where I physically had to catch the staff in the act of delivering the medication, belatedly, after we'd complained. On top of that, they frequently ran out of medication. This is totally unacceptable. Things didn't stop there - my grandmother fell a few times, and not once did the head nurse bother to personally check up on her. Moreover, numerous times, my oxygen-dependent grandmother was left without any oxygen. If it weren't for the camera we placed in her room - a suggestion from nurse [name] -, we wouldn't have even known about it. There's a whole lot more that I just can't fit here. To be fair, they seem to handle independent living just fine, but their assisted living services really need a lot of work.

"Chose Different Home After Staffing and Callback Concerns"
I visited this place with my family. At first, we thought it was nice. But then, some people told us they had problems with not enough staff. I also had a hard time because they didn’t call me back when I had questions. So, we picked a different place to go to.

"Staffing Issues Plague Lincoln Meadows Assisted Living Facility"
Lincoln Meadows, like many places in the US, struggles to find enough staff. This is especially tough on weekends in the memory care unit. They help with things like managing medicine, staying clean, getting dressed, and bathing. Talking with the managers has been fine, but it's hard to talk with weekend staff in the memory care unit.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Promised Services and Care"
This place might be okay for living on your own. But for folks who need help, it's not great. We're not getting the services they promised, like laundry. The caregivers aren't very friendly. And the staff don't tell us enough about our family member. They said the monthly fee covers cleaning, laundry, meals, and more. But the cleaning and laundry don't happen regularly. For the first six weeks, they didn't do any of it. But my family member likes the food a lot. They have different specials every day, and a menu to choose from. They've been talking about the food to us all the time.

"Mom's Positive Experience at Lincoln Meadows"
My mom really liked Lincoln Meadows. The apartment was great, although it didn't have central air like she hoped—it had a big, noisy wall unit instead, similar to those in hotel rooms. The size of the place meant lots of walking, which wasn't ideal given her condition. Despite that, she liked everything else about it.

"Lincoln Meadows Failed to Handle Covid Outbreak and Patient Care"
Our dad got his full Covid shots. But he still got sick with Covid when there was an outbreak in the Lincoln Meadows home in Sep/Oct 2021. This made him really sick. In fact, he had to stay in the hospital for a whole month. During that whole time, nobody from Lincoln Meadows even called to check on him. We even told the front desk that our dad was sick and needed a Covid test. They gave us lame advice to take our old, ill dad to his own doctor because they didn't have tests there. After we told them our dad was sick, they didn't keep him separated. Instead, they let him go into the dining room and all around the home. They didn't seem to care that he was sick or that he could make others sick. In Oct. 2021, Lincoln Meadows had an outbreak of 17 Covid cases. They could have prevented this if they'd done the right thing.

"Exceptional care and community for loved ones!"
My mother-in-law has lived at Lincoln Meadows in the assisted living section for over two and a half years. My wife and I spent months visiting other facilities in the Denver area, but this one really stood out. The building is well-kept, and there were no bad smells, which can sometimes happen in these places. We saw many residents out of their rooms and interacting with each other, which was great to see. A special shoutout to Chef [name], who has created a fantastic and varied menu. He has also trained his young staff to provide great service and really care for the residents. The caregivers are wonderful; they know the habits and preferences of each resident and work hard to keep everyone comfortable and engaged. Lincoln Meadows has a program called the Resident's Club for those with memory issues, run by [name]. She is incredibly dedicated and caring towards her twelve residents. Even though my mother-in-law doesn't attend these daily sessions anymore, [name] still checks on her every day, which speaks volumes about her character. Yes, this facility and program are a bit pricey, but the daily structure provided for my mother-in-law was worth it for us. Another plus is the month-to-month program, which saves us from the high buy-in fees at many other facilities. Overall, what convinced my wife and me that this place was the best fit for our family was the focus on the residents by both the facility and the staff.

"Pushy Staff and Lackluster Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
This place isn't exactly the nicest. To start, they didn't even have any apartment samples to show us when we were touring. Instead, the staff just randomly knocked on people's doors to let us peek in. We told them that wasn't needed, but they said it was perfectly fine and that they do it all the time. One resident even joked that one more tour wouldn't hurt. We considered walking out right then and there. Other folks at the place told us it was pretty great, but some had already moved out. Everything seemed tight and costly. Plus, it looked way too much like a regular nursing home. You'd think they'd have more activities to keep residents active, like other places do. The staff seemed really high and mighty too. They kept pushing us to sign on the dotted line right after the tour. They made us feel like it was their way or the highway.

This place is super clean, and the staff knows everyone’s name. Everyone here is kind and very helpful. My mom is in assisted living, and she goes to a daily program with memory care activities. They eat together afterward, and the food is really good. If we ever have any issues, they fix them right away. They listen to feedback and are very accommodating to my mom’s needs and wants. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

"Poor Service at Assisted Living Facility, Seek Better Alternatives"
Dreadful and scary experience...it seems all they want is your money without caring at all for your loved ones. After we got hung up on, when we phoned to complain, a lady named finally picked up and acted as if she was at the other end of a pizza delivery number - so unprofessional! She acted like we were calling the wrong number! All we needed was a doctor or nurse to get in touch with us, the family, for advice. My advice? Look elsewhere for better care at a cheaper cost...

"Fantastic Place with Great Food and Friendly Staff"
We moved my parents into Lincoln Meadows about two months ago. My dad adjusted well, but my mom took a bit longer. Recently, I heard her tell a visitor they should stay for dinner because the food was so good. The only thing she complains about now is there’s too much food! That’s a good problem to have. Even though they are in Assisted Living, they can eat in either dining room, which is a nice choice. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and involved in solving any issues that come with losing independence. The Activities Director even took them to 24-hour fitness in her car to show them around. They chose not to use the outside facility because it felt too big for their needs, and Lincoln Meadows had what they were looking for. Lincoln Meadows offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. My parents wanted a community that felt similar to their old one, with independent residents around. They used to go to the YMCA often, and the fitness room at Lincoln Meadows gives them that option. The grounds are great for long walks on a soft asphalt path or through beautifully landscaped gardens, and they enjoy watching the birds and the mountain views. My retired Air Force dad even enjoys watching the planes at Centennial Airport during the day. I hope they continue to enjoy everything Lincoln Meadows has to offer!

"Definitely Not Worth It"
This place really isn't what it's made out to be. Sure, it looks nice on the outside and the layout seems good, but that's just for show. Plus, there's always a shortage of caregivers. Despite what their ads say, there's really only 1 caregiver for every 20-25 residents in the assisted living section - if you're lucky! Living here at Lincoln Meadows doesn't come cheap. Just the cost of living in the assisted living section, with no extra care, is over $4200 per month. If your loved one needs any extra help - like getting around, taking meds, getting dressed, or even just making their bed - the price spikes dramatically. And believe me, you're not getting what you're paying for! The people in charge are clueless and barely know the residents. The caregivers are the ones who can give you real updates on your loved one, not the nurses or administrators. I've never actually seen any of the nurses doing anything on the floor. They just sit in the office! The people serving the food are really unfriendly, and the food is just average. Plus, the residents often have to wait nearly an hour just to get served! Even the inside of the building isn't very clean. The laundry rooms are always a mess, there's always a broken machine, and there's never any detergent. Some of the resident’s rooms even smell bad if the doors are open. There've been whispers of caregivers being mean to residents, and management intimidating their staff. I’m just scratching the surface with this review, but take my word for it, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

"Perfect place for mom!"
We recently moved my 90-year-old mom to Lincoln Meadows from Mesa, AZ, where she lived happily in an active senior community with many friends. Luckily for us, she knew she needed to be closer to us and was ready for the move. We only looked at one place because she immediately felt Lincoln Meadows was perfect for her. She has been there for almost two months and couldn't be happier! Just yesterday, someone came to her apartment to give her a facial, and she loves using the little beauty shop. They offer a wide range of activities, both inside and outside, and she enjoys participating in almost all of them. The cleaning service is great since she struggles with making her bed and vacuuming. The food plan is well designed, giving her lots of choices about when and what she eats. We especially appreciate that she is only half an hour away, allowing for regular family visits. She has made many friends and is really enjoying her time at Lincoln Meadows.

"Impressive Facility But Lacking Director Involvement & Follow up"
During my visit, things appeared rather disorganized. The director was not around or involved in the daily activities of the residents. While the nursing staff was quite friendly, I worried about a lack of follow-up from the director. The salesperson gave a comprehensive introduction, but that was it— no further communication. It's a newly built, attractive facility, but that doesn't necessarily say much. I'd be worried about the consistent care for my dear one if they stayed here. On a brighter note, the food was quite good, and there was a wide range of activities. However, there were a few spots that smelled like urine at times.

This place seemed nice, but when we walked in, there was a strong urine smell, which was unpleasant. The apartments were good, but they were small for the number of people living in them.
