"Ineffective Staff Response and Theft at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom rang me up, saying she thought she had pneumonia. She used her call button right then and there, and I started my car to get there. I reached there faster than anyone ever responded to her call. A staff member even stole some of her stuff. So frustrating.

"Concerns about lack of memory care and facility security."
The place is really good, but we're worried because they don't have special care for memory problems, and it's too open, so we're afraid our loved one might wander off. If they had a place like this but safer, it would be just right.

"Thumbs Up!"
I'm really happy with how things are going for my uncle since he moved into this community. The staff is friendly, and I feel comfortable with the care they provide. He enjoys the meals and other activities throughout the week. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone.

"Dated and Crowded Facility with Limited Amenities"
When I visited Oberon House, it felt cramped and tough to navigate. The place seemed old-fashioned and gloomy. Surprisingly, the rooms didn't have air conditioning; you had to rely on the hallways. Plus, they didn't offer some basic stuff, which seemed odd. It wasn't what we had in mind.

"My Mom Loves It Here"
Since my mom moved here, she's doing a lot better. The staff are really caring and always help with what she needs. Every time I visit, the place is super clean. My mom joins in some activities and loves the food. Because everything is going so well, I would tell others to choose this place.

"Mom Thrives at The Oberon – A True Home"
In 2013, I began searching for an assisted living place for my mom in the Arvada-Westminster area. After touring five places that felt too much like hospitals, I was feeling pretty down about it all. Then I visited The Oberon, and it felt like stepping into a real home. On the third floor, I found a cozy common area with a fireplace and an inviting library. There’s also a sunny room for winter days and a pool table. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made a big impression. I saw a nice dining area with small tables and another fireplace. They offer great services like medication help, meals, a beauty salon, laundry, and cleaning. The apartments have kitchenettes, comfy living spaces with views, and safety features. My mom has lived there and loves it. She enjoys the 10-cent bingo games and the many activities available. It gives me peace of mind knowing she’s well cared for by such kind people.

"Comfortable and Convenient Assisted Living with All-Inclusive Fees"
I've had my mother at Oberon for 4 years now, and she is very comfortable and content. The location in Arvada is very convenient, situated at the end of a quiet street with great views. The all-inclusive fees work best for us and are much easier and cheaper to manage compared to other assisted living places where they charge separately for medication administration, laundry service, or meal plans. Residents feel more at home in this smaller facility with 60 apartments, which makes it easier for them to get to know each other and the staff.

"Long Drive, Smoke Near Building, and Lack of Memory Care"
It takes half an hour to get to Neal according to Waze. There's smoking happening just 25 feet away from the building. Plus, there’s no proper care for those with memory problems.

"Disappointed Review of Assisted Living: Smoking Close and Lack of Memory Care"
A long 30-minute drive from Neal. It's bad enough that people smoke just 25 feet away from the building, but there's also no actual memory care provided.

"Unpleasant Staff and Setting at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff and surroundings here were absolutely unsatisfactory! The lady we consulted with was really thoughtless. She informed us that they don't want to deal with those who are concerned about costs. During our visit, the lady who was assisting us even went as far as to forcibly seat a resident in a chair saying, "Stop grumbling and keep quiet, everything is okay!" Talk about shocking!

"Opted for Different Facility After Shocking Treatment"
Awful staff and surroundings! The lady we talked to was absolutely rude and told us, "We don't want to chat with those concerned about the cost!" Plus, while we were checking out the place, the staff member assisting us literally put a resident in a chair and said, "Quit whining, everything is great, and stay quiet!" Unreal!

He owned and marketed the place. The atmosphere felt cozy and homey, but it was too close to the railroad crossing.

"Chilly 3rd Floor in Assisted Living"
Finding it was tough, but the place is nice and tucked away. The main floor (which is actually the 3rd floor) is really pleasant, as is the 2nd floor. However, I didn't like the 3rd floor much—it felt too cold for me. I can't imagine how the elderly manage it. Also, it seemed quite old.

"Hidden gem: Nice, yet cold and dated upper floor"
This place sure is hard to spot. It's nestled in a quiet area, which is cool. The first floor (by the way, they consider the third floor) is superb, just like the second floor. On the flip side, the third floor didn't win me over - just too chilly for my liking. I can't understand how the elderly residents deal with it. Plus, it feels a little old and out-dated.
