"Loved One Needs Patience, Food Needs Improving"

The Palisades at Broadmoor Park could be better by being more patient with our loved one. According to them, the food needs to get better too. They'd prefer simpler, homestyle meals.

"Bright and Cheerful Memory Care Facility Tour Impresses Us"

We visited Palisades At Broadmoor Park while looking for a place for our loved one's Memory Care needs. The tour impressed us a lot; it came close to being our top choice. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, the place was clean and friendly, and our guide did an excellent job showing us around.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

We thought our loved one could have a private room here, but they meant a private bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment. That's not what we wanted. The people we met were fine. The place seemed okay but not as nice as others we saw. It felt more like an old folks' home or a hospital.

"Family-Oriented and Helpful Community"

I checked out a few places for my dad, but I picked this one. The people here are super kind and helpful. The care team feels like family, which is great for my dad and me. My dad is in independent living, so he doesn’t have nurses checking on him all the time, but they’re there if he needs anything. The other residents are friendly and inclusive. They have activities like card games and offer transportation for outings. I’m not sure if it costs extra, but it’s available. Housekeeping keeps everything clean and helps with laundry once a week. Overall, I recommend this community. They have beautiful outdoor views with chairs and tables overlooking the Colorado mountains.

"Like living in luxury!"

I visited Palisades while searching for care for my wife, and it felt like the residents were living in luxury. The facility is truly beautiful. The staff was super helpful, very informative, and amazing. The people who showed me around really understood everything about the place. It was also very clean. This place is definitely top-notch!

"Exceptional Care and Comfort for Residents"

When I was looking for a place for my mom, I really worried about how well she would be taken care of. I wanted to find a staff that would be attentive and make her feel at home. I chose Palisades at Broadmoor Park because the staff really connected with the residents. They greeted everyone like they were good friends. In the Memory Care unit, [Removed] was especially warm and caring, which helped us feel at ease. There are lots of activities, the food is delicious and nothing like the usual hospital meals, and the whole place is beautiful. I highly recommend it!

"Mom loves it here!"

My mom lives here, and she loves it! She is in memory care, and the caregivers are kind and helpful. The food is really good with three meals a day and snacks too. She enjoys watching TV with everyone. The grounds are nice and tidy, and the whole place is always clean.

"Great place to consider for loved ones' care!"

I enjoyed the tour of this community. It is very nice and clean. The staff is friendly, and the menu looks good. My mom wanted a place closer to my home. We would recommend this community for other families to check out for their loved ones' care.

"Caring Community with Great Activities"

We really like the care at this place. The staff is kind, and the community is small and friendly. They have a lot of different meals, and we love that families can join for meals and holiday events. We’re happy they have lots of fun activities to keep everyone active. We highly recommend this place for taking care of a loved one and think it’s a great value.

"Found Better Location; Staff Friendly and Helpful!"

I toured this place with my loved one, and it was nice. The staff were all friendly and helped us a lot during the tour. They gave us good info and answered our questions. The building was well-kept, and they had cool stuff for residents. But, we decided on a different place in the end.

"Love my place and the wonderful staff!"

This well-kept community is beautifully tucked under Cheyenne Mountain. I moved into my one-bedroom casita and have been more and more pleased. The staff is amazing—they knew my name from day one. Every request I’ve made has been happily and quickly handled. [Name] at the front desk is a gem. The dining staff are so kind and attentive, even serving off-menu items. On my birthday, they surprised me with a thoughtful gift bag! The food is great (especially the soups), and there are plenty of options. [Name] and the maintenance team have done an excellent job keeping my apartment in top shape. Can you tell I LOVE IT HERE?

"A Wonderful Community for Caring Support"

I chose this lovely community to care for my mom. I really liked it! The area is beautiful, and the place is more than just clean. The staff were friendly and attentive to my mom's needs. The activities and menu were both great. I would recommend this community for its care and value, and I suggest other families come and tour it.

"Forever Grateful"

My dad recently passed away at the Palisades, and I want to thank the caring staff for providing a comfortable, safe, and loving home for my parents during his last couple of years. When he moved from assisted living to memory care, they made the transition warm and welcoming. The care staff truly loved him, and he felt that love. They always knew how to bring a smile to his face and appreciated his sense of humor. When he was weak or stressed, they were nurturing, always offering hugs and smiles. It was comforting to see them help him as he couldn't stand or take care of himself. I felt he was in the best place possible. After he passed, we were so grateful for the love and attention they showed to my mom, who still lives in assisted living. We will always be thankful for the daily warmth and affection our parents received.

"Mom's Home Sweet Home"

My mom lived at The Palisades for over four years and recently passed away. She was very happy to call it 'her beloved home.' Most of her time was spent in the Independent Living section, where she developed wonderful relationships with fellow residents and staff. When we needed to move her to the Assisted Living Building, the staff made the transition as smooth as possible. Mom loved being part of The Palisades community, enjoying various activities and appreciating the flexibility to have 'alone' time in her apartment. I wholeheartedly recommend The Palisades to anyone seeking a new home to meet friends and thrive.

"A Solid Choice for Affordable Good Care"

This is a pretty cool place. The folks who work here are kind and always ready to help. The meals could be a little better though. The place is really neat and clean. They have a bunch of fun stuff to do. I'd say it's a solid choice if you want good care without it costing too much.

"Amazing community with great staff!"

This community is fantastic! The staff is super nice, and there's a nurse available if needed. The sales rep really knows everything about the place, which I appreciated. The area around is beautiful, and everything is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend it to family or friends.

"Angels for My Mom"

My mom is very happy with this place. It’s the best. I think the staff are all angels for helping my mom. They go out of their way. The grounds and her room are very clean. Mom doesn’t join in the activities anymore, but she can’t do them now.

"Great food and activities at this friendly community"

My loved one is doing better than I expected since moving here. The food is tasty and they have lots of healthy choices. The staff are great at reminding her about the daily activities so she can join in. I would recommend this place.

"Initial Review"

My mom recently moved into Palisades at Broadmoor. The staff has been friendly and attentive, suggesting activities for her. Although I’ve only shared one lunch with her so far, she mentioned that the meals are better than her previous residence. We hope this will be her last facility.

My loved one had a short stay, but staff impressed.

"Exactly what we needed"

I was able to move my dad into Palisades even with my tight schedule. The staff is amazing. The place isn’t too big, so it’s easy to get around, and the setting is beautiful. The price fit well within our budget. I’m not sure how I missed this great spot during my search last summer, but I’m really glad I found it this fall.

"Outstanding care and staff at The Palisades!"

As a professional trustee and guardian for 35 years, I've worked with many care facilities and professionals. With this experience, I can truly say that my client receives excellent care at The Palisades at Broadmoor Park. This facility is a step above the rest! The staff is outstanding! I trust that my client is being cared for in many ways. Thank you to everyone!

"Kind and welcoming staff"

The staff here is very kind and welcoming. They made the move easy for us. The food is okay, but not the best. The place is always clean and tidy.

"Quickly Fixes Tech Problems"

One thing Palisades At BroadMoor Park does really well is helping residents with their tech problems. They send someone out quickly to fix any issues.

"Excellent Care at Palisades!"

The nurse at Palisades At Broadmoor Park is fantastic. She's caring, empathetic, and does an excellent job. While the salespeople aren't bad, I was more impressed by the hardworking staff. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I'd recommend them.

"Friendly Staff, but Unreliable Upper Management at Palisades"

In general, this is a decent place but the higher-ups don't seem to keep their word consistently. There's a whole bunch of stuff they promised to do but didn't, even basic things weren't done until I raised a fuss. I'm not sure if it's because they have too few staff or bad training, but it's really annoying. I've tried reaching out to the main company office and it took three calls before I got a response. The food is average, I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5. But the regular staff are great! Everyone at Palisades is friendly and my mom appreciates it there. I just wish they would follow through with their commitments. Just as a side note, my mom lives independently here so ratings about care services aren't relevant for us.

"Facility has issues but my husband is improving"

We've had a few problems because I didn't have all the info. They’re doing some construction right now. My biggest issue is they told me they could take care of my husband, but after just four days, they said we needed to hire a sitter, which increased the cost. Insurance helps a bit, but it won’t last as long now. They also need more activities that guys would enjoy, like more bowling. On the positive side, my husband is gaining weight and getting stronger, which is great.

"Decent Facility, Costly, Uncertain About Memory Care Needs"

We checked this place out before and thought it was nice. The cost was around $9-10,000 per month. We weren't sure if Grandpa could stay in the regular assisted living if he needed special memory care. They might require him to be in the memory care section. They have a PACE program which is similar to Medicaid. This could help if they run out of money. The bedroom is only big enough for two twin beds or a queen-sized bed, so we'd need a two bedroom.

"Great activities and care!"

I think there are lots of activities to do, but my loved ones are still getting settled. The staff is amazing, and the facility is excellent. The care my loved ones are getting is above and beyond. The food is good.

"Great place for loved ones!"

They’ve been doing a great job here. When I toured this place, I liked it a lot. It was the nicest place I saw and the only one I’d want my loved one to live in. The staff were friendly, it was clean, and the food was great. Whenever I talk to my loved one on the phone, she sounds happy and always has lots to say about the activities and social events.

"Nice Homes in Unwelcoming Location, Lacks Social Spaces"

The living spaces are nice. However, the place is located on a busy street and lacks a gate for security. The layout doesn't promote a sense of community because it doesn't encourage people to mingle. The outdoor area isn't cozy enough for people to gather. Few residents were seen around.

"I loved my first tour of this spacious assisted living!"

I had my first tour, and I loved it! The place is roomy and spacious, and it looks new. There are lots of programs and amenities. Even if Mom needs to go on Medicaid, sharing a room would still give her some privacy. I really liked that!

"Impressive facility - residents on a field trip."

The facility was impressive, but residents were on a field trip, so I didn’t get to interact with them or see how they usually are.
