"Home-like Atmosphere with Trustworthy Day Staff"
I thought it was more like a home than a big store. It costs a lot, but I trust the day workers.

"Disheartening Experience with Serenity House's Alzheimer's Care"
My dad has Alzheimer's, and we chose the Serenity House as his assisted living facility. We couldn't look after him at home as he often walks around at night. Serenity House staff promised that they had experience dealing with Alzheimer's patients and assured us that they had a system to alert them when my dad was out of his room. However, in the first week itself, they called us saying my dad couldn't stay there because he was wandering into other patients' rooms. Despite knowing this about him, they found this troubling. A few days later, my mom was abruptly told that my dad was being shifted to a facility located far away from our place. This was very distressing for my mom and not something that we had agreed to. I got in touch with the center's manager and demanded a home closer to us. In the new home, the staff was nice but they didn't seem to understand how to handle someone with Alzheimer's. The manager later called me about an incident that I wasn't aware of. He was impolite, kept cutting me off, and spoke in a belittling tone. When I corrected him, he seemed uninformed about the details of the incident, something the other staff members also pointed out. It was quite shocking to be treated this way, especially when we were paying $4,600 per month. I spare you the details of other unpleasant instances. Serenity House may be good for elderly care, but from what I've experienced, they lack trained staff for Alzheimer's and memory care. I would not recommend them for these medical conditions.

"Impressive Tour, But Mom Prefers More Space"
I liked the tour I took; it was really good. The guide took his time talking about the community. They had a nice setup, and everything looked good. We saw a private room, but my mom didn’t like having to share the bathroom with other residents. She also felt there wasn't enough space to walk around if she wanted to.

"Exceptional Staff and Great Care at Serenity House!"
The staff at Serenity House I are truly amazing. My in-laws don’t join in many activities, but they recently went on a field trip and had a great time. The staff at this place are very well trained, calm, and caring. They really know how to handle any problems that might come up.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
I think Serenity House does a good job overall. My loved one hasn't been here long, but I've seen her improve a lot since moving in. The place is clean and well maintained, and all the staff are really friendly. If you're looking for care nearby, they're definitely worth checking out.

"Mixed Experience at Serenity House Assisted Living"
Serenity House seemed nice overall, but it wasn't right for Mom. I wish they had assessed her more carefully. Initially, they thought they could care for her, but just a few days after moving in, they said she needed to go elsewhere. For those whose needs match what they offer, I'm sure they do a great job though.

"Seemed like a nice place, but not the right fit"
Serenity House looked like a good place overall, but it didn't work out for Mom. I wish they had been more careful with their assessment. They thought they could take care of her, but a few days after moving her in, they said we needed to find another place. For people who fit what they can handle, I'm sure they do a great job.

"So grateful for our mom's care at Serenity Homes!"
We feel so lucky to have our mother living at the Carter House, one of the Serenity Homes. She is happy and well taken care of here; it truly feels like a home, not just a nursing facility. We know she is safe, enjoys tasty meals, and takes part in fun activities suited for her age. The caregivers are friendly, kind, and really know what they’re doing. We couldn’t be more grateful for Mike Z. and his staff at the Serenity Homes. We are so lucky!
