"Springwood Retirement Tour Impresses"
During our visit, we really liked Springwood Retirement. The only downside was they didn’t offer transportation. If they did, we would have strongly considered choosing them.

"Exceptional Manager at Springwood Fired, Residents Demand Investigation"
I Moved to the independent living section of Springwood, named the 'Fountains. My fellow residents are amiable and likeminded. However, the management of this place has been in constant flux. Just about a year ago, we got a new manager who proved her worth, going above and beyond during the COVID crisis to care for us, an elderly and susceptible group. Shockingly, this efficient and compassionate manager was recently fired, leaving us upset and questioning the sanity of the executive director who made this decision at a crucial period. I believe Springwood's owners need to seriously look into this matter." Headline:

"Unhappy with Care and Missing Items at Assisted Living"
The folks here seem really confused when we need to change how we take care of someone. Like, if we need new medicine, or even just a little help to lift someone up, they don’t do it. And one time, they broke someone’s glasses and didn’t even say sorry or try to fix them. They did say it was their fault, though. Sometimes, they charge us for stuff we didn’t even get. My family member felt pretty lonely there because the workers would just hang out and talk to each other at the front desk. We also noticed some things went missing, like jewelry, but nobody tried to find out what happened or make it right. We decided to move, and now my relative is way happier. The place was usually super quiet, not much happening, and the food was just okay. They say they have someone who knows all about healthy food, but they really need to work on making meals that aren’t so full of salt and fat.

"Long Wait for Meals and Poor Medical Care at Assisted Living"
I live at the assisted living home and more often than not, I sat in the dining room for around half an hour to an hour waiting for my meal. They also ran out of my medicine and did not even inform my family. It's very upsetting that my personal things, including some valuable ones, keep going missing from my room and the staff are very slow to respond when I ask about it. It usually takes over a week for them to return my calls or emails. Also, if your beloved family member has any health needs like needing regular blood pressure or sugar level checks, this home might not be suitable. They need immediate care which this place does not provide. It's better not to leave any valuable items in the room. I strongly discourage anyone from choosing this place.

"Highly Recommended!"
When I visited this place, I was impressed by the friendly staff and active community. They offer plenty of activities, and everyone knows your name. The facility is well-maintained. I’d recommend it to other families.

"Springwood unprepared, lacks available room to view"
I checked out Springwood as a potential place to live for me. But, the lead person didn't have a room to show me when we toured. Overall, they seemed really disorganized, so I picked a different place to live.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The waiting list was really long. It was the cheapest option I found. The place looked nice. Maybe the representative was having a bad day; she didn't seem eager to show us around.

"Bad Service at Assisted Living, Unfair Charges, No Accountability"
The customer service here is really bad. They checked my mom in, then kicked her out just 20 hours later. They won't refund any part of the $1,000 fee they charged us and insist on keeping 10 days worth of rent even after we had to leave - it's in the lease. They're saying that they weren't ready to take care of someone like my mom, but they never admitted that they messed up when they let her in to begin with. It's a lousy system that just takes all the money from old people's savings.

Our Senior Advisor was amazing. They gave us 9 options. We had to find a new place quickly. We found the perfect spot for our mom. I definitely recommend this site.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
The community looked nice and clean. The apartment they showed us was very small. During our tour, people were busy and seemed happy. Unfortunately, the place was too far for us.
