"Good Experience, but Needs More Staff"

It's been a good experience for my parents. It's a tough time in life, but the staff have been really attentive. One complaint is that they don't have enough staff, but I think they're working on it.

"Disastrous Leadership at Assisted Living Facility"

This assisted living facility is a huge mess and the residents are really unhappy. The Executive Director is terrible. She pushed out the previous Director and installed herself in that position. She also drove away the caring chef. The chef who came after him quit within two days because she's so awful. The food situation is a disaster and the residents hate what's being served. She also got rid of the Medical Director who was working hard and doing a good job. She pushes people too hard and then yells at them. I would never choose to live there.

"Caring Atmosphere Despite Aging Facility"

The assisted living facility is old and shows signs of wear, but the managers and caregivers are incredibly kind. They're currently renovating rooms and shared spaces. While there aren't many amenities, it's a loving environment.

"Quiet Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Bright Spaces"

This assisted living place is super quiet. Inside, it feels a bit old-school with its flowery walls and worn-out carpets. But hey, they're getting a makeover soon. I noticed a bunch of folks heading to grab lunch in the dining area. That place is super sunny, and the people working there are real nice to everyone. They've got this big, sunny room called the Respite Room where you can chill. It's got a cozy spot to sit, plus a fridge and a microwave to heat up your snacks. And guess what? You don't even have to pay upfront to book this cool room.

"Bad Care and Unprofessional Treatment at Legacy Assisted Living"

I'm really sorry that I sent my mom to this place. At first, it seemed like a caring and committed home, but that idea quickly faded. Bad attention, lack of respect and a shortage of professional help are just some of the bad things I feel about this place. Regrettably, I had to learn this the hard way. Don't rely on Legacy to offer the kind and proper care your loved ones should get.

"Avoid! They're Only Concerned About Money, Not Residents' Welfare"

This place is terrible. All they care about is money, not the well-being of your family member. They won't collaborate with you to ensure that residents receive sufficient care. Be careful if you're considering this place!

"Don't settle for subpar care: Run from this neglectful facility!"

Avoid this facility at all costs! They might seem friendly and promising when you're initially considering to move your loved one in, but they fail to deliver on their assurances. To start, the place is crawling with mice! The condition of the infrastructure, including the elevators, window sills, blinds and dining room floor, is disgusting. The medical personnel lack the ability to properly administer medications. If your loved one isn't capable of managing their own medication, you'll need to ensure that the staff is doing their job, as they are often too busy texting! The activities provided are lifeless and unexciting. The food is unappetizing and meals are uninspiring. This place doesn't value families' input or ever invite them to any events, unless it's to settle the bills or inconvenience them. They are perpetually understaffed! The management is uncaring and distant from the residents, often secluded in the office, if they are even in the building! There are countless better options out there – absolutely anywhere else would be better. Avoid this place! Run! If you truly care for your loved one, find a facility that truly cares!

"Escape This Awful Assisted Living Facility Now!"

Get away from this place as quickly as possible! In the beginning, you'll be treated well while they're trying to convince you to choose them for your elderly loved ones. But right after move-in, their truth is disclosed when they don't stick to their initial promises! This facility is jam-packed with mice! The cleanliness of the common areas like elevators, window sills, blinds, and the dining room floor is dreadful! The medical staff lack proper training to dispense medications correctly! If your loved one can't manage their own medications efficiently, you might want to step in to ensure proper care. But most of the time the staff members are preoccupied with their phones instead of fulfilling their duties. Their recreational activities seem more suitable for those who have passed away rather than those who are alive! Plus, the food served is terrible and the meals monotonous! Despite bearing all the expenses, families are never invited to participate in any events. It appears it would ruin their routine! They always seem to be understaffed! The attitude of the administration towards the residents is evident. They show a lack of concern, remain distant from the residents, and mostly stay inside their office, given they're even on the premises! Don't settle for this place when there are much better options elsewhere...literally anywhere else! Go find somewhere else! Get away from here!! If you truly cherish your loved one, choose an establishment that genuinely cares for them!

"Desperate Plea: Food Shortage and Poor Quality at Assisted Living Facility"

Terrible!" Just keep repeating that word. It sums up everything that is happening here very accurately. They didn't even mention the shortage of food. Our options for meals were drastically reduced two months ago. The food we do get now? Honestly, it's awful. Lunch is nothing more than soup and dinner is just cold sandwiches. The staff says they don't have enough money to buy good food. Even the portions we get have been significantly reduced. Most of us, myself included, are going to bed hungry. Just remember - "Terrible!" And get away as fast as you can!

"Awful Place Leaves Residents Constantly Hungry"

This place is truly terrible! Reading 'awful' over and over still doesn't cover what it's like here. They completely missed one major problem - the lack of food. Just a couple months back, our meal options were slashed, reduced by more than half. The food quality? It's just barely above trash level, with lunches that consist of nothing but soup and dinners that offer us cold sandwiches. The staff tell us there's not enough money for anything else. They've even shrunk our serving sizes by at least a third. Most of us living here, including me, go to bed hungry every night. Read 'awful' again and steer clear of this place!

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Experience"

This place was not what we expected at all. Before we moved in, the staff seemed super friendly and welcoming, but once we were there, they hardly paid any attention to us except to send us a bill every month. The activities were really boring, and they didn't encourage families to get involved at all. The meals were just okay. There weren't enough staff, and the ones that were there didn't seem to care about making residents' lives better. They were always mixing up medications and had issues with ordering. The residents seemed bored and neglected, and the staff turnover was really high. They didn't provide the level of care they promised, and the place was not very clean or professional. Our dad hated being there, and we're so glad we left. Don't go here, find somewhere else!

"Neglected and Cold Environment - Look Elsewhere!"

The management at this place is always out of sight or absent. They seemed super friendly and approachable when we were still considering moving in. However, once we settled in, they appeared uninterested, aside from sending us our monthly bill. The activities they offer are incredibly dull. They don't encourage or plan any engagement with families. Food here is below average. The place is extremely understaffed, with unenthusiastic employees who don't have any time to devote to improving the residents' quality of life. Both the management and staff show absolute indifference toward residents and their families. Mistakes were made with medications and orders. The residents always seem bored, aimlessly wandering around, or sitting unattended and without spirit. Their staff can't seem to stick around. The level of care provided is far less than guaranteed; basic needs are often overlooked. The facility lacks professionalism, a friendly atmosphere, and could use a thorough cleaning. Our dad despised every second he spent there. We couldn't be happier that we're out of there! Beware and seek other options quickly!

"Feels like home, very supportive staff!"

The staff is really caring and friendly. My mother-in-law loves the food and the people here. The Legacy has a cozy, home-like atmosphere, and her living space is the biggest we’ve seen compared to other assisted living places. She has a small kitchen that fits a table, plus a sitting area and a separate bedroom with its own bathroom. My mother-in-law had trouble adjusting at first, but the staff was very supportive and made sure the transition went well. They are approachable, helpful, patient, and truly care. We’re so happy we moved her to The Legacy—couldn't be more pleased!
