"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Safety"
If your family member is pretty healthy, this place might work. But if they have health problems or trouble moving around, it's not a good choice. I picked the Cottage at Litchfield Hills to keep my mom safe, but sadly, she's not. She fell a lot, like 8 to 10 times, and got really dehydrated a couple of times in just over 2 months. That meant a bunch of trips to the hospital. I had to get extra help from another company because the Cottage doesn't have enough staff. The workers are nice and do their best, but there aren't enough of them for all the residents who need help.

"Friendly Staff and Smooth Transition Make Assisted Living Feel Like Home"
The people who work here are super nice and always ready to help. At first, they had a bit of trouble figuring out when to give my mom her medicine, but after a few weeks, they fixed it. Now, everything is going well. My mom really likes living there and says it feels just like home.

"Needs better activities, but great facility and staff."
The activities are where they need to improve. They don’t always follow the calendar, and the activities often cater to less active residents. My mom is not low-functioning, so she gets bored. They also don’t take residents out of the facility enough. It seems like only the first-floor people get to go out, while those in memory care stay behind. This might be more of a management issue rather than the staff’s fault. The nursing staff is excellent, but the CNAs could improve. Sometimes, I see all five CNAs just sitting around while the nurses work hard. The facility is beautiful, and my mom’s apartment is very nice. The food is also good and not like typical institutional food.

"Assisted Living Gem with Room for Meal Service Improvement"
We picked The Cottage because many people said it was good. The rooms are big and nice. The staff here communicate well about everything happening. They are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. However, sometimes they seem to have too few staff for serving meals, which needs work. Still, I would suggest it to others looking for a place.

"Mixed Review of Atria Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, the cleaning and upkeep are good here, though the rooms need more attention. The dining areas and other main spots are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Compared to other places we checked out, this community is fairly priced, and you get what you pay for. They bring in entertainment groups to perform for the residents, which is nice. The food at Atria is pretty tasty. They offer different room sizes like studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms.
