Brightview on New Canaan

"Great care, clean, and fun activities for residents!"
My mom has lived at Wellspring at Brightview. We're really happy with how clean it is, how caring the staff is, and all the activities they plan for the residents. Thank you!

"Poor care and honesty in mother-in-law's short stay"
My mother-in-law's transfer to this assisted living facility was a disaster. We hoped she could stay, but she couldn't even make it a week. They couldn't give her the care she really needed. I wish they had been more straightforward and truthful when they evaluated her. It just wasn't a good fit for her, and it ended up being a bad experience for us too.

"Clean and Friendly, But Not the Right Fit"
We visited Brightview on New Canaan. The staff was nice and answered our questions. The place was clean and tidy. However, it didn’t match my mom’s needs—we wanted peers who shared her mindset and physical abilities.

"Great place with friendly staff and excellent care."
Brightview is a really nice place. The staff is friendly, and the care is good. The facility is new and beautiful. They have a daily happy hour that helps people socialize, and the food is excellent. They encourage residents to join in activities and sit together at meals. It is expensive, mostly because my mother wanted a one-bedroom apartment instead of a studio and needs more care. But we’re very happy she’s there.

"Seeking Stimulating Classes for Mom"
My mom could use more interesting classes. Things like learning about today's culture or bridge programs would help.
