"Chose for value, would recommend; happy residents, personable staff"

Chose for value, would recommend; staff personable, residents happy.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living with Room for Dining Improvement"

The carpet and furniture in the common areas could be updated because they look worn, but overall, the community is very clean. The staff are friendly and give a homelike feeling. They communicate well with families and respond promptly. Three meals are served daily with choices for residents, though the food quality could be better. The community accommodates dietary restrictions.

"Community Tour: Nice but Small and Outdated"

Our family took an in-person tour, which was nice. However, the community felt a bit too small and outdated for us.

"Terrible Care At Assisted Living Facility Forces Family To Leave"

This place is absolutely horrible for your family members. The people there just don't seem to genuinely care about their patients. They reel you in like you're at a car lot, but once your family member is there, they don't give them proper attention or care. The staff barely checks on the patients, often leaving them alone, and they don't answer your questions or worries. After only a few months, my family had to take my sister-in-law out of there because of the poor service.

"Feels like home with caring staff and great food"

Brookdale feels like home. There's always something going on, but my dad doesn’t join the activities, though they're available. I stayed with him, and the food was really good. They offer a menu for each meal. The staff is straightforward and super friendly. The head nurse is amazing, and my dad really likes her. The executive director also does a great job running the place. I would recommend Brookdale Wilton to others.

"Assisted Living Tour Experience: Mixed Feelings"

We visited in person. Place was clean, but didn't feel right for our family. The lady giving the tour was too focused on sales, a bit pushy. She spoke negatively about another community, which wasn't nice. It felt like they cared more about reputation than our loved one's needs.

"Brookdale Wilton Falsely Advertises Rent and Conditions"

Brookdale Wilton tricked us. They gave us a plan with a specific rent and living conditions. But after our meeting with them, everything was different. The plan was completely changed, the rent was nearly two times what they said, and it was a terrible ordeal.

"Brookdale Assisted Living: Recommended Despite Challenges"

The community has been good. Because of the pandemic, I recommend this place to others. There was an issue with bed bugs, but Brookdale resolved it. The frustrating part was the director not returning my calls. However, the director was helpful during my loved one's transition. They communicates well and has been great helping my loved one. She deserves an A+ for being friendly and communicative.

"Room layout issue, but great staff and location."

Visited on . The place has a nice location, and the staff is fantastic. But there's a problem: the two-bedroom doesn't come with a living room, and it's quite a long way from my sister in New York.

"Great Place with Fun Activities and Good Food"

They have lots of fun activities here. The dining room is nice, and the food is good with many choices. The place is clean, and the staff is helpful. They have aides if you need extra help. I would recommend this community.

"Not the Right Fit"

We checked out this place for my mother-in-law and her needs. The tour went okay. But we didn't think it was the right fit for her and what she needs.

"Our Visit"

We enjoyed our visit to this community. The people we met were friendly and supportive, and the place looked clean. However, it's more suited for assisted living, whereas my loved one prefers independent living.

"Needs more welcoming atmosphere for families"

We visited this community twice. It felt a bit small and outdated. The staff was nice, but they didn't seem as friendly or cheerful as other places. My gut feeling was off, even though the prices were appealing. The community looked clean, but the atmosphere and the residents seemed a bit inactive. I recommend that families check out this community for their loved ones.

"Saw the Place: It’s Small but Not so Clean"

I took a tour of this place, and they showed me everything. It’s a smaller community, which I noticed right away. However, I wasn’t too thrilled with how clean it was, and it seemed like it needed an update. The Memory Care area was really small, and I think someone might feel cramped in there. The tour was good, but I wished it was bigger.

"Consider stopping by Brookdale Wilton!"

Brookdale Wilton is a good place with special care services. The staff giving the tour knew a lot. They answered all my questions. The place looked well maintained.

"They are awesome!"

They are awesome! The staff is super friendly and nice. Everyone is so pleasant; I haven’t seen anyone grumpy there. Their medication management is a bit more than most places. The food is good; I enjoyed a family barbecue they had. I really liked the location because it’s small enough for her to get to know others. I preferred the atmosphere here with the rocking chairs on the porch. The grounds are nice, and it feels very homey. They were also very accommodating and worked with us on the room they had available.

"Not swept off our feet during visit"

When we were visiting potential spots for our family members, this one just felt gloomy and not as tidy as the others. People living there didn't seem too joyful or cheerful.

"They really focus on each resident"

They have some really nice activities for the residents, and with only about forty-five people living there, they can really focus on each person. That was a big reason we chose this place. The food seems pretty good too.

"Sister Prefers Previous Spot Due to Brookdale's Activities"

My sister plans to leave Brookdale Place because she's not really into the activities they offer. She enjoyed the stuff to do at her previous spot more, so she's going back there. Brookdale's things to do just don't meet her preferences. The place is clean, and the folks working there seem decent. In my opinion, the nursing team, or whatever it's called, was even better compared to the previous place. Could be because it's a bit more intimate, not a giant setup. It's a smaller place.

"Good Management"

My mom would complain if it wasn't clean, but she hasn't. It's expensive, more than we can really afford, so we're looking at insurance options, but it's worth the cost. The care is excellent. They haven't focused much on activities. People didn't ask for them, so they didn't do them. Their shopping trips were boring. They're starting to do more now, but only because we asked. This is the third place my parents have been, and management is terrific. They know how to run a place like this. The nursing staff is excellent, which is very important for my parents. Brookdale is very on top of things.

"Amazing Outings"

I looked at many places, and this one offers the best value for the money. The staff is really attentive. They call me often to discuss how they can help my mom. I never worry that she's being ignored or neglected, which can happen in assisted living. They take residents out a lot. Recently, they went to Mohegan Sun, a casino in Connecticut. Next, they're off to New York City for Radio City's Christmas Spectacular. Overall, I have no complaints.

""Former Sunrise Home with Same Layout and Supposedly Better Food""

This place used to be Sunrise. It still has the same setup with one-bedroom Sunrise rooms. They say they've improved food choices. Around 60 people live there. It's off the main road.
