"Good except plain food and limited activities for able-bodied"

The food is plain and repetitive, but everything else is good. The place is clean, well-maintained, with helpful staff. Activities are more for older folks; limited options for the able-bodied.

"Recommended for caring service and good food, adjustments were manageable."

I would suggest this place to others for their loved ones. The food was good, and so was the service. The staff was nice and always told me what was happening. The care was really good, and it took my dad some time to get used to it, but he ended up liking it a lot.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

I help my younger brother who lives in an apartment where he's pretty independent. He's one of the youngest there. I don't know everything they do, but they've added a new pub and gym, and some unit for moving from assisted living to memory care. They've spruced up the place a lot, though they've had a lot of turnover in top staff, including the director. Over the past year, they've been improving the property and changing staff and how things are organized. I'm not sure how this will affect the people living there, but I think it's supposed to help. The prices have gone up, too.

"Assisted Living Facility: Welcoming Environment with Supportive Staff"

The facility is really welcoming and supportive. They have lots of skilled and caring staff, including CNAs, nurses, activity coordinators, dining room servers, front desk personnel, and transportation team.

"Great Location and Helpful Staff, But a Bit Expensive"

I only had a few days to find a place. I chose this one because it is a few miles from my daughter in case of emergencies. I would recommend it. Very nice place. The staff is helpful, but it's a little pricey.

"Brother Thriving in Comfortable, Convenient Senior Living at Stonebrook"

I helped my younger brother, who is single, financially independent, and doesn't have children, move into an independent living apartment at Stonebrook. He's quite particular and likes having things done for him. He enjoys not having to cook or clean, which the facility provides. He's comfortable and happy at Stonebrook, joining group activities and using their transportation services regularly. He feels it meets his needs well, offering a nice environment that's better than typical nursing homes but not as fancy or expensive as some high-end senior living options.

"Too expensive with inattentive attendants."

Value for the cost - This is the hardest part to answer. Even though I know this place is priced similarly to others in the area with the same kind of care, I find it very expensive. There's also an extra fee each month if the resident needs to be hand-fed. I watched the feeding. The attendant was on their cell phone 80% of the time. When they're not feeding, they're just sitting around watching. I think they could do all three things at the same time with the number of attendants there and not charge extra for feeding. That's my personal opinion. Thank you. Also had a bit of a problem with billing.
