"The Greens At Cannondale - Friendly and caring staff!"
The Greens went above and beyond to help my aunt and her dog during her stay. They were so nice to her and our family. This place is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and caring.

"Review of Assisted Living Facility - Exceptional Care and Compassion"
I toured this facility while searching for assisted living for my aunt. I checked out several places, and the quality and service here were way better than the others. When my aunt moved in, I felt really good knowing she was being well taken care of. They also showed a lot of kindness during her final days.

"Warm and Welcoming"
I just started looking for a place for my mom. I live out of state, but my mom and siblings live in CT and NY, so our search has been pretty wide. The Greens at Cannondale is definitely in our top 3. What I liked most was the warm feeling I got when I walked in the front door. The people were lovely, and there seemed to be a lot going on—great energy. Most importantly, I never felt pressured. The “tour” was really relaxed, and I felt this was a place my mom would feel right at home. What seemed really fun was they had a golf cart to drive residents to and from a BBQ near their big vegetable garden. I was even invited to join! I felt very welcome.

"Amazing Staff and Service at The Greens!"
Ireview: I say, my brothers and I were worried about moving Mom. But the staff at The Greens are the best at everything—customer service, food, nursing, transportation, and housekeeping. Mom has no complaints! The grounds are also amazing. Thank you, Greens, for everything you do.

"Nice folks and pets welcomed, but facility feels a bit dated."
It felt old-fashioned, closer to a nursing home rather than an assisted living facility. But, the residents are really nice and they do welcome pets.

"Top-notch care and service at The Greens"
The Greens is the best place ever. No other place can match their beautiful grounds, buildings, and especially their amazing customer service. I also love that they have a nursing home right there. My mom is very picky, but the chef always talks to her directly.

"Valuables Gone Missing: Cautionary Tale of Assisted Living Neglect"
If your loved one has Alzheimer's, listen up: Take home anything valuable they have. Don't trust the caregivers to keep it safe. When my Mother passed away, all her belongings vanished. I trusted her caregivers to keep her valuables safe, but they didn't. Her jewelry and other things are missing. Considering how expensive this place is, you'd expect them to be more careful. Take all valuables home with you, don't leave them there!

"Many Valuables Lost at Pricy Assisted Living Facility"
If your family member is dealing with Alzheimer's, I strongly advise that you take away any valuable items they might have. Don't rely on their belongings being safely stored. After my Mom passed away, her stuff just vanished. I naively trusted the caregivers to securely store her valuables as promised. Now, her jewelry and other possessions are gone. Considering the high costs of this facility, I expected them to better handle the belongings of their residents. Make sure to take all precious items home with you; don't leave them there!

"Exceptional Care and Comfort at The Greens Assisted Living Facility"
My parents have been living at The Greens for a year, and our family is very happy with their care. Even though it's pricey, the care they receive is excellent. The aides assigned to them are very responsible, patient, and kind. I visit The Greens often and have seen that all the residents are treated well by the aides, nurses, administrators, dining staff, and activity and transportation workers. From the start, our family felt at home in the nice and stylish environment at The Greens, and that feeling has only grown stronger. My parents (and I) love the delicious food, and the Italian chef is both great and very friendly with the residents. The live piano music during meals and at other times really adds to the quality of life. My mom has also enjoyed Bingo and making jewelry with high-quality materials. The Greens doesn’t cut corners or charge extra fees, which makes it feel more like home. The staff truly care about the residents' happiness and well-being. My sisters and I are so relieved and thankful to have found such a perfect place for our parents.

"We found the perfect forever home for our parents!"
My parents have been at the Greens for a year, and our family has been very pleased. It is expensive, but our parents get amazing care. The aides, who are part of their living arrangement, are responsible for my parents and treat them with great patience and kindness. I visit the Greens a lot and have seen that other residents are also treated kindly by aides, nurses, administrators, dining room staff, and recreation and transportation personnel. From the start, our family felt at home in the comfortable and elegant surroundings at the Greens, and that feeling has only grown over time. My parents and I really enjoy the delicious food (the Italian chef is wonderful and very sweet to the residents). The live piano music at meals and other times during the day makes life even better. My mom enjoys Bingo and jewelry making (they use high-quality materials). The Greens doesn't skimp on quality or try to overcharge families. This makes it feel more like home, with staff showing real concern for residents' happiness and well-being. My sisters and I are so relieved and grateful we found the perfect place for our parents.

Daddy's Girl
"Dad’s New Home"
We moved my dad in this past summer, and it was a tough decision for our whole family. My mom had passed away suddenly in the spring, leaving my dad heartbroken. Living in the house they shared for over 40 years, where they raised six kids, was too much for him. He had never cooked, planned a night out, or scheduled a doctor’s appointment without my mom. My brothers and I had never seen him so lost and vulnerable. He had always been our rock, but now he seemed so frail. One of my co-workers suggested assisted living. My brother and I visited The Greens at Cannondale and were immediately impressed by the warm and welcoming greeting we received. It just felt like home. Dad has settled in nicely and made some great friends. Although nothing can replace the loss of mom, The Greens has given my dad a new outlook on life, and my brothers and I are so grateful. We couldn’t ask for a better place for dad to call home.

"Great atmosphere and decor make this a top choice."
I looked at three different assisted living communities before deciding. They were all quite similar, so it really came down to which one felt right. The choice is often about the vibe and decor. This place is one of the good options in the area.

"In the top three."
This community was one of my top three choices. They're all quite similar, but it ultimately comes down to personality. Choosing based on atmosphere and decor is nice. There are a couple of good places in this area, and this is definitely one of them.

"Poor Care, Inedible Food, Neglected Safety at Assisted Living"
The head nurse doesn't care at all. She only thinks about herself and ignores when other nurses and aides don't do their work right, especially if they're her buddies. There's been a lot of mistakes with medicines that have led to residents going to the ER. The supervision there is super bad. Plus, the food is so gross no one can eat it. Everyone complains but nothing changes. They also can't seem to handle infections well. We kept telling the boss that the hand sanitizer machines need refilling, but no one ever fills them. I once saw an EMT failing to use one during an emergency. Random falls happen a lot, too. Overall, this place lacks good management. Don't even think about putting your loved one here. They have a lot of empty apartments and are looking to fire staff. Your loved one deserves a better place. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

"Middle-of-the-Road Assisted Living Facility with Potential"
This place is okay. The people living there seemed well cared for and tidy, but there was a noticeable smell of air freshener (maybe hiding other smells) and I didn't like it. The combination of that and the wall-to-wall carpeting wasn't great. I didn't see many staff members talking or engaging with the folks living there. Most of the time, they were just watching TV. The workers there would often ignore the residents and didn't really come off as friendly or nice, which bothered me. The plants inside looked unwell and almost dead. Roughly half of the place has been fixed up recently (and they plan on redoing the rest soon). The redone areas have nice, big showers in the bathrooms with seats built in, which were really stylish. The surroundings are quite rural and scenic. But, all in all, this place seemed like it's seen better days and it's not on my top choices.

"Aides Need Better Training, Otherwise the Place is Great!"
I really love this place. The only thing that disappoints me is that my mom needs a lot of care, and the aides aren’t delivering it. The nurses are amazing, but the aides always seem to be in a rush. I feel like I have to constantly keep an eye on them. That’s the only fault I see—the quality of the aides. Other than that, I really like everything here. It’s a beautiful place with great activities. The activities are high-level and appropriate, not insulting to the residents’ intelligence. They have great, stimulating activities, and the food is fantastic too. Everything is perfect except for the aides. I feel like they weren’t prepared for the level of care we’re paying for. I don’t think the aides were trained properly. It’s not the nurses—they’re great. Overall, this place is better than anything else I’ve seen.

"Impressive Community, But Pricey for Long-Term Care"
I really liked this community, but it was way more expensive. They offered so many great things that it was like Brookdale on a whole new level. However, the cost was much higher, and when you're thinking about your budget for the long term, it didn’t seem worth it.
