"Varied Activities and Clean Environment, Food Could Improve"
The assisted living facility offers activities like exercise classes, card games, and bingo for residents. They also organize movie nights and wine tastings. Currently, due to COVID, residents receive boxed meals which could be better. The community is kept very clean and well-maintained. The room sizes are average in this facility.

We picked this place because it's close by. The staff is friendly, but the food quality and serving need improvement. The rooms are spacious. I'd recommend it to friends or family.

Moving my mother-in-law here has been smooth. We have no complaints. She enjoys the meals, trying out activities, and meeting new people. The staff keeps me updated on any changes and how she’s doing.

"Make the Hallways Wider!"
The people living here were up and about during our tour. Everyone seemed cheerful and friendly. The staff was excellent, providing helpful information about the community. Unfortunately, we didn't choose this place because the hallways were too narrow for my loved one.

"Top-notch care for Mom at The Orchards Assisted Living"
The Orchards is awesome. The people who work there are super nice and really helped my mom out. [Removed], who helps with retirement stuff, did a lot to make sure my mom felt good and settled in. I totally think other people should check out The Orchards.

"Poor Conditions and Unfriendly Staff at Southington CT Facility"
This place had a smell all around. Dust balls were seen in corners and the carpets were dirty everywhere. It seemed sterilized and icy. Workers weren't welcoming or nice. The rooms are tiny. It looks like they don't keep up with cleaning. Workers were hard to see, like they were hiding.

"Wonderful Experience for Grandparents!"
My husband's grandparents moved here, and it's been amazing! The price is great for what they offer. It's super clean and everyone is very welcoming. It was a bit of a transition, but they checked in on them a lot for the first three days and even gave us free lunch so we could be there with them. The food is really good, and we've eaten with them a few times. They have lots of activities. His grandmother was very isolated before, but now she's going on outings to Walmart and exercise classes. They are very independent, but it's nice to have more care available if needed. Plus, they accept veterans benefits, which is great.

My dad lives in a basic studio at The Orchards. It’s a small room, and they charge extra for everything—like cable TV. Considering the rent, I think more things should be included. Meals are part of the deal, and my dad enjoys them. They offer various activities, but he hasn’t been able to join in much. Still, The Orchards is in a convenient location for our family, and their community fee is lower than other places.

Dad lives in a standard studio at The Orchards. It's the smallest room available, and everything costs extra—cable TV included. Considering the rent, I believe more things should be included. Meals are part of the package, and Dad enjoys them. The community offers numerous activities, although Dad hasn't been able to participate much. The Orchards' location works well for our family, and their lower community fee sealed the deal.

"Clean and Active Assisted Living, but Small Rooms"
This place is really nice. It's super clean and there's always something going on. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit on the small side. Overall though, it's a great place to be.
