"Concerns Over Medication at Assisted Living Facility"
Since my sister moved into the care home, she's gotten worse fast. I got really worried and talked to the people working there. Turns out, they were giving her medicine for schizophrenia, not for her actual problem, which is dementia. It made me think, are they using meds to keep her still? She even seemed like a zombie once. After we chatted, they did cut down on the schizophrenia meds.

"Adequate Assisted Living with Friendly Staff"
My family member lives at The Village at South Farms. The staff is nice. I believe they need more Aides on the Memory Care floors, based on residents’ needs. Housekeeping is okay, not amazing. I’d suggest this place to friends and family.

"Good place, but preferred different location"
This community was good, but my loved one preferred another location.

"Not Ideal for High-Functioning Individuals"
My loved one didn't stay here long due to personal reasons. It didn't feel like the right fit for her. Their dementia care was different from what we expected—it felt more like assisted living. Unfortunately, they lacked the staff to provide the attention and companionship she needed. During her time there, she wasn't involved in any activities because the other patients weren't at her functioning level. Overall, I don't think they accommodated her well. While the staff was nice, it just wasn't the right place for my mother. I'd recommend it, but not for someone as high-functioning as her.

"Great for Independent Living, Not for Memory Care"
I really liked this place, but it's not great for memory care. It's a nice community for people who don't want to deal with a house or apartment anymore, but the residents are more active than my loved one. Everything is pay-as-you-go, so it's better if you're healthy. But if you need extra help, the costs really add up.

"Clean and Cozy Living with Great Food and Spacious Rooms"
The food at The Village community is really tasty, and the rooms are spacious. One thing we noticed was how clean everything was and how nice the decorations were.

"Communication Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
Most of the staff is great, but there's a problem with communication. Getting my mom ready for doctor's appointments is confusing. No one seems to know the right procedure. Sometimes she's not ready when I arrive.
