"Nice Facility, But Expensive"
We picked Forest Hills because the rehab center suggested it. When we toured the place, we really liked it. But it was very pricey. They moved her to higher levels of care while she stayed there, which made the cost go up a lot, even though they only had two levels of care. Her apartment was very nice and fit her needs well. Just know that they only offer independent living or full assisted care, with no in-between.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improved Management and Staff Interaction"
The assisted living place needs better management and staff interaction. The care services were not enough, and the staff didn't know how to communicate well with the residents. They didn't make my loved one feel welcome or try to understand their needs. It was disappointing to see the lack of knowledge about what residents require to join the community. On the bright side, the food is really good, and it's cheaper compared to other places.

"Awful Experience at Forest Hills for Dad with Dementia"
My dad stayed at Forest Hills after he had a fall. He has dementia. Some of the workers there were not nice at all. They would shout at him when he went to places he wasn't supposed to, but they didn't understand that people with dementia often wander around. We were told their staff knew how to work with patients who have memory problems, but a lot of them didn't act like it. Dad was usually upset or sad while he was there. It was really terrible. I would not recommend sending any elderly relative with memory issues there.

"Very warm and caring place"
From the day my mom arrived, the staff has been warm, welcoming, and willing to help with any transition issues. There are enough activities, but no pressure to join them. Independent and assisted living residents use the same facilities, which is nice for those needing help to keep their life feeling normal.
