I'm concerned about helping my reluctant mom acclimate. Nice community.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Good Amenities"
They really try hard to make residents feel comfortable. They organize scenic drives, bingo games, and performances by bands or singers. They even offer transportation in their van for appointments. The food is quite good. The facility has two floors, both for assisted living. You need to be 60 or older to stay here. They clean the rooms daily and do laundry once a week. The people who live here are friendly.

"Lovely staff, too fancy for my loved one's taste."
The staff here is really great and they act very professionally. The only thing is, the place seemed a bit too fancy for my loved one.

"Pricing Miscommunication at Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living facility is really nice and the staff are friendly. Before my tour, they talked to me about the prices and sent me details by email. But when I got there for the tour, the price they told me was higher than what we had talked about earlier and what they had sent me in the email.

"Homelike Atmosphere and Friendly Staff at Dover Place"
Our visit to Dover Place was really pleasant. Everyone we met was friendly, the facility looked spotless, and we even saw residents actively crafting. The salesperson was fantastic and connected us with a nurse for the tour. Ultimately, we chose a different place that felt more like home and was closer.

"Lacking Communication and Monitoring, But Friendly Atmosphere"
The place seemed nice and everyone was friendly. But when we called to ask about how our family member was doing, they didn't give us enough information. Also, I don't think they checked on them often enough when we weren't there.

"Dad’s Happy, We’re Happy: Dover Place is Amazing"
I can’t say enough good things about this place. My Dad was so happy after he toured Dover Place that we canceled our other tours and signed the papers. He’s moving in on [date removed]! The staff are awesome, and the place was clean, well-kept, and beautiful!

"Great Amenities!"
I liked this place a lot! It had awesome amenities for everyone living there. The staff did a great job keeping everything clean and well-maintained. The open floor plan made it easy to get around. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right location for my family and me in the end.

"Nice community with friendly staff, but too expensive for us."
My family and I liked Dover Place. The people were nice, and the person showing us around knew a lot. But it cost more than we wanted to pay, so we decided not to move Grandma there.

"Unimpressed: Not the Home Feeling We Hoped For"
When I first visited Heritage of Dover, it didn't feel like the kind of place I could call home. The staff members were really nice and answered all my questions. The place was clean from top to bottom. But the overall vibe made me feel like it's not where I'd like to stay. I didn’t find it suitable for my wife.

"Great Choice for Dad"
I’m so happy we picked Heritage in Dover for my dad. He’s really happy and well taken care of. It’s a small place where everyone knows him, and with good meals and lots of activities, he’s very content. I don’t have to worry about his safety and care.

"New Resident Settling In Well"
Our resident has been there for a bit over a month and is getting into a nice routine. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have lots of activities that they encourage her to join, the food is good, and everything is clean and tidy. If there’s any downside, it would be the cost. I was told it usually goes up 5% each year.
