"Bug-Infested and Neglected Buildings with Unresponsive Maintenance"
Luther 1 and Luther 2 have a serious problem with bedbugs and mice. They only repaint apartments every seven years, and once your seven years are up, you might have to wait another seven years on the list. The carpets in the corridors on every floor are gross and full of stains. I pity the older folks who live in these buildings.

"Avoid This Facility - Unaccountable, Negligent, and Unhygienic"
This place is just terrible. You'd think with the high prices we pay monthly, there would be better oversight and more care for the residents. My grandma lived there for a long while, and I was shocked by how little they cared or even noticed the elderly living there. They hardly keep track of the residents - I've seen people just walk out without staff noticing. And in Wilmington, that's a concern! The nurses don't respect what the family suggests or worries about. They don't bother to inform us when there's an issue. Plus, every time we visited, the hallways stank like pee. It's heartbreaking. I would never suggest this facility to anyone who genuinely values their loved ones.

"Bed Bug Infestation at Luther Towers II, Poor Management"
My 97-year-old grandma has been living at Luther Towers II for a while now. This past summer, the whole building got a bed bug problem. The staff haven't done a good job taking care of it at all, and it's only gotten worse. This summer, we had to take all of grandma's furniture out of her apartment. To this day, Luther Towers has not offered to help her financially to get new furniture. All grandma has in her apartment now is a bed, a wooden table and chair, and a TV. I can't understand how this company lets our elderly live like this.

"Waiting in Lobby, Facilities Need Update, Atmosphere Disappointing"
The person showing us around made us wait in the lobby for 30 minutes. I think the place will feel nicer once they fix up the lobby and elevators.

"Delayed tour and dated facilities at assisted living center"
The person who was supposed to show us around made us wait in the lobby for half an hour. It'll probably feel more welcoming when they spruce up the lobby and elevators.

"Aged Assisted Living with Tiny Apartments Lacks Flexibility"
This place is old and needs a makeover - fresh paint, new carpets and so on. They provide either autonomy or assisted living – there's no middle ground. My parents are right on the edge, they want to be free but might need help now and then. Plus, the apartments are tiny, too tiny for a pair.

"Very nice and friendly place!"
I'm really happy to be here! It's clean, looks nice, and was in great condition when I moved in. The staff is very friendly and well-organized. They check in every morning to make sure everyone is up and doing well. Overall, it's a nice place, and I'm so glad I found it!

"Great staff, lots of activities, but ovens are tricky"
The staff at this facility really goes above and beyond for the residents. The only challenge is that my mom has poor vision, and the ovens are digital and hard for her to read. There are many activities, like bingo, and they also take residents out weekly to places like the store, the bank, and the doctor.

"Great activities and extra effort for residents."
The staff goes above and beyond to help residents. The only issue is that my mom has trouble seeing and can't read the digital oven's numbers, which are set up for handicapped people. They offer lots of activities like bingo and also take residents to places such as the store, bank, and doctor appointments every week.

"Positive Experience at Luther Towers One Assisted Living Facility"
My review of Luther Towers One is good. My dad's been there a few weeks. He's had kindness from neighbors and staff. He liked their financial budgeting program. No complaints from him means none from me.

"Parking concerns, view of common areas, phone chat with director"
The place had some issues with parking. Saw the common areas, but didn't really check out the facility. Talked to the person in charge over phone.
