"Attentive Staff and Tight Security at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom sometimes has to remind the staff about things like towels. The religious worship options are limited, but maybe she’ll go to church with transportation in the future. The staff and nurses communicate well about her health. Security is tight, and safety is a priority.

"Good for Mobile Loved Ones"
This community is decent. Consider it for your loved one if they’re mobile and need minimal care. Staff communication is good, but more availability would be nice. Meals offer choices.

"Improved Communication at Rockland Place!"
The staff at Rockland Place are super friendly and helpful. Recently, there was a change in the medical team, which caused some communication issues. Despite that, the administrator and medical director have given me their personal cell numbers, and they’re actively working on improving communication. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Rockland Place.

"Assisted Living Facility Receives High Praise for Staff Availability and Communication"
Overall, our experience has been good. They have enough staff; someone always answers when you call, and there's a receptionist available, so no voicemails. The nurses are always there when we need them, keep us well informed, and are great at communicating. I would recommend Rockland Place to other families.

"Great value, friendly staff, better activity updates needed"
We picked Rockland Place because it's a good deal, close by, and the staff are super nice. I'd like to know more about the activities and what she does or doesn't join in on. They could share this info better with families.

"Friendly staff but lack adequate mobility aids and staffing"
The employees were friendly. However, halfway through our visit, they needed to take my wife's wheelchair and move her into another type of mobility aid. As we continued to explore the facility, we noticed most of the residents just sitting around idly, and a lack of staff around them. From what we saw during our tour, I can't recommend this place.

"Beautiful Facility with Focus on Activities, May Not Suit Everyone"
Rockland Place is a pretty place. It's very active, which wasn't good for my loved one who doesn't like joining in. It's perfect for someone who likes to do things, but it just wasn't right for us.

"Top Choice for Assisted Living with Amazing Support"
My father-in-law didn’t want to move and chose to stay home with help from caregivers. He really liked Rockland Place, but he just couldn’t leave his house. I want to emphasize that Rockland Place was our first choice. Their support was incredibly helpful. Thank you for everything! Angela Davidson

"Comfortable Care!"
My mom recently moved into this community, and things have been going okay for her so far. I’m comfortable with the care provided by the staff, but I do think the administration could improve their paperwork organization. My mom mentioned that the food is a little bland and could be of better quality. Overall, the adjustment has been a bit difficult, and there’s room for improvement.

"Rockland Skimps on Skilled Staff, Prioritizes Profit"
Poor Care and Money Over Residents at Rockland". Please take a moment and read this. I would never advise anyone I care about, or even an acquaintance, to move into Rockland. One time, the head nurse clearly told me, "Don't be confused, this is a nursing home, not an assisted living facility." It's a shame that they don't hire registered nurses to be available all the time. A lot of the people there require a higher level of treatment by trained and skilled people, not helpers who lack the needed education. These older folks should get the best care possible. But sadly, it seems like Rockland, run by WATERMARK, cares more about money. The serious shortage of staff and lack of training result in bad patient care.

"Decent Care, Not the Right Fit"
My husband's stay at this place was just okay. Sadly, I had to pull him out as they couldn't provide the care he needed. There was some trouble with one of their people. They were okay at looking after him, but ultimately, it wasn't the right place for his needs.

"Staff Treat Residents Like Royalty!"
My mom wasn't happy about moving here at first. But she says the staff treat her like royalty. They go out of their way to make her feel welcome. They encourage her to join in activities and meet other residents. She likes the food, and the place is always super clean. I would recommend this community.

"Concerns Over Staffing and Safety At Rockland - Do Better"
I'm thinking about moving my mom out of this place. Not too long ago, a nurse told me about three breaks that happened on just one shift. Rockland refuses to spend enough to hire enough workers. A lot of the nurses aren't even from here, so talking to them can be tough. And the food? Just okay, really. I'm worried about my mom's safety. Start your search elsewhere if you can.

"Caring staff provides peace of mind for families"
He, the RN, is amazing and took the time to understand my parents' needs. We were able to move them in together, which has been a huge relief for our family knowing they’re in good hands. he, the Director, was very professional and helped us find the right solution. While the cost is a bit high, the facility, food, and staff are all excellent. You can really see that the staff enjoys their work and feels a sense of purpose. Every time I visit, I feel like the cost is worth it.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
At first, this place seemed great. However, once my mom moved in, it became clear that there wasn't a lot to do. The food was just okay and didn't include fresh fruits or salads regularly, making it seem canned or pre-packaged. The staff didn't seem to have much experience with elderly patients, and some of the aides were disrespectful to other residents. It wasn't until after my mom had a fall that we realized this wasn't a good fit for her.

"Lacking Service at Rockland Place: Negative Experience Noted"
Unpleasant Experience at Rockland Place: Mother's Needs Overlooked" Sadly, our experience with Rockland Place was quite disappointing. My mom suffered a broken femur, and it seemed like no immediate actions were taken to treat her. Their services can surely be improved. The silence in the place was downright eerie. My main concern was that my mom wasn't getting the proper help she needed, and we weren't aware of this predicament until the unfortunate incident with her happened. If we had known this beforehand, we would've opted for a different facility. I believe they should better understand the importance of socializing their residents. The assistance provided on the weekends in particular, fell substantially short.

"Great location, staff, and activities"
The staff is super friendly. The physical therapist my mom worked with was awesome. The place is really clean, and the housekeeping and maintenance are great. They have the most activities of all the places we checked out. The lobby looks amazing and is impressive when you walk in. My mom didn’t want to go at first, but they were very flexible and helpful with her transition to becoming a resident. The location and setting are the best choice for our mom.

"A Great Experience with Excellent Care and Activities"
I had a great experience. They offer all kinds of activities like games, music, and more. I was amazed that out of 100 residents, they knew me and my dad right away and knew exactly where he was. I picked this place for two reasons: they have two levels of memory care, which he'll need later, and the speech therapist he needed was there full-time.
