"Assisted Living Review: Helpful but Meal Delivery Issue"
Sometimes we gotta go downstairs to get meals. He's not getting outta bed much and needs food brought up. But, overall is doing fine there. We'd surely suggest American House Bonita Springs to other families.

"Terrible Experience at American House Bonita Springs Assisted Living"
Our time at this place was absolutely awful. They didn't have enough staff to take care of things properly. The people in charge weren't nice, and the person who helped us get settled in wasn't very good. This is especially true when it comes to temporary care. They demand that you stay at least 30 days for temporary care and you can't get your money back. After only 10 days of truly terrible experiences, we left. But then they charged us for a whole extra month by mistake. I don't suggest going to American House Bonita Springs at all.

"Good but spread-out facility with friendly staff and two pools"
This place isn't far from my house. The people working here are nice. I like how the outside looks and they have two swimming pools. The rooms are alright and clean. There's a roof over the parking area. The price isn't too much. But, it's a bit annoying because all the common areas are split between two buildings. The buildings are not attached and there's no cover over the walkways to keep you from the sun or rain.

"Facility Falls Short of Initial Promise"
When we first visited, I thought this place would be perfect for my dad. The staff seemed great, the facilities were clean, and it sat on a huge lot. It looked like a good match for my dad. But, a few weeks later, I'm worried about the level of care he's getting. It's not what they promised and it's not what he needs. Before his health declined, he was socializing and eating with the others. As of now, he's been admitted to the hospital and the facility's management has already put in place emergency measures due to a storm. We'll have to reassess the situation when things calm down.

"Decent Facility with Few Activities and Dining Restrictions"
This place only has a couple of activities like bingo and exercise classes. It seems like the staff isn't really pushing my family member to join in. The food is alright, but they told us we can't eat meals with our family member. The place is clean and has pretty grounds. We had to bring our own sheets and blankets. The best thing is, it's close to our family.

"Distressing Experience at American House Bonita Springs"
When my dad was living at American House Bonita Springs Senior Living, I thought he was just dumped there due to the staff's total lack of organization. The staff seemed lost, having received no clear guidance from the director of nurses. They were inconsistent and never brought my dad to any activities, leading him to retreat within himself and stop talking. The head nurse seemed incapable of leading or cooperating with her team. After discussing my concerns with the corporation, they suggested moving my dad to the American House Coconut Point Estero. They arranged the entire move and my dad had a smooth transition. I hope, someday, they'll resolve their issues at Bonita Springs. The entire experience with their staff was hugely disappointing.

I think these folks didn't provide temporary accommodations in different seasons.

"A Happy Place for Mom"
My mom is happy in this community. I like that we don't have to pay upfront. She enjoys the meals and the new surroundings. She chose it because she knows people here. The only issue is she hasn't received her iPad yet, promised for new residents. I'd suggest it to others in need.

My brother visited American House Bonita Springs Senior Living. He said it was nice and people were friendly, but it's in Florida. Our family member prefers staying in Pennsylvania with me.

"Great Place for Mom: Clean, Modern, and Supportive!"
My mom's enjoying American House. She loves bingo and food choices. It's cleaner and more modern than her old place. The staff's really nice. They even helped us with money stuff. I'd tell others to check it out!

Everything is going really well for my mom since she moved here. The staff is great, and I know she’s in good hands. The community feels safe, and I’m happy with her decision to move. They offer nice outings and fun activities, and she’s already joined a few. I’ve tried some meals, and the food is good. I’ve even recommended this place to my friends—it’s a nice facility.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
This place is pretty nice, but my dad didn't like it much. I think he moved in too fast and wasn't prepared. Overall, it was okay. It looks good and stays clean. The staff is friendly, and they offer fun activities. I knew he was taken care of, but he didn't want to stay.

"A wonderful place for both parents"
This place is really great! The people who work here are super nice. They make sure everything looks good outside and inside the rooms. The food is really good, and my parents are really happy living here. The staff are awesome, they helped my parents get used to not being in the same room. They have visitors every day which helps them get used to everything. I think this is a really good place for anyone who needs it.

"Mom's New Happy Home at American House"
I chose American House for my 94-year-old mom because of what they offer. They check on her often during the day and night, which makes me feel much better about her living there. She’s living like royalty, with so much help that she mostly just enjoys her apartment and the activities. It’s great knowing she’s getting three meals a day. I’m very happy with American House.

"Happy Father - Happy Daughter"
We are more than happy with our decision to move my father to American House Senior Living in Bonita Springs. The almost new facility is really nice, beautifully decorated, and well-furnished. My father’s studio apartment is the perfect size for him. There’s plenty of room for his bed, nightstand, and dresser on one side, and a large sitting area with a loveseat, recliner, end tables, and TV stand on the other. It never feels cramped. The staff has been so kind and helpful, making it easy for my father to settle in. According to my father, the food is excellent! With everything included in the monthly fee, we think it's a great value. But the best part is that my father is extremely happy and loves his new home. Happy Father - Happy Daughter.

"Great Stay with Effective Therapy and Easy Payment"
American House Bonita Springs Senior Living was a positive experience. My dad can be challenging, but he managed to get through the months there. His wife is thinking of bringing him back home. He was really impressed with the physical therapy services. Even though he didn’t fit in perfectly, that’s not their fault. I liked their business approach you pay as you go. I didn’t have any problems at all. Overall, it was a great temporary stay. I was very happy with everything.

"Weekend receptionist is unhelpful, weekday staff much better."
At American House Bonita Springs Senior Living, the weekend receptionist doesn’t know much and uses the excuse that she only works weekends. The weekday receptionist, however, is much more attentive, taking notes and following up. The care staff is excellent and very attentive. The facility doesn’t offer many outings, just a couple of lunch trips. It would be nice to see more activities like afternoon plays, rather than just trips to places like K-Mart.
