"Aunt's Care Suffered Due to Staff Issues at Angels Facility"
We moved our Aunt into this facility for 8 months. They told us all kinds of things would happen, but because of the huge amount of different staff coming and going, it was really hard for her to have stable care. We're really let down and it was really scary having to move her. She likes her new spot, but we're still pretty mad that Angels didn't talk to us more about our problems.

"Expensive compared to chosen community. Nice tour experience, 4 stars."
Our family visited Angels Senior Living in person. The tour was pleasant, but we rated it 4 out of 5 stars because it was significantly pricier. They asked for nearly a fee per month compared to the community we selected for our loved one.

"Mixed experience with wheelchair accommodations during tours."
I visited twice, first alone and then with my loved one. First tour was good, second not so much. They didn't accommodate his wheelchair needs well; it was uncomfortable.

"Friendly Staff and Good Activities, but Wi-Fi Issues"
I’ve got a couple of concerns. First, communication after hours isn’t great. They’re working on it, but I’m not sure if they’ve fixed it yet. I’ve had to remind them a few times. The Wi-Fi in my loved one’s room is also unstable. But overall, the staff is friendly, and the activities and food are good.

"Outstanding care and support for families!"
The Lodges of Idlewild is a truly amazing assisted living facility. They give excellent care to their residents and great support to families. Since I live out of state, they have kept me updated and made me feel like I was there with my mom. They send photos, texts, emails, and even call me. When I visit, I can see the care and kindness from the whole staff. They really go the extra mile for residents and their families. We definitely made the right choice for my mom by selecting The Lodges.

"Extremely happy with care and staff—best place around!"
I am so happy with the care my mom gets here. It's been 7 months, and I still believe this is the best place in the Lutz/North Hillsborough area. The staff is amazing.

"Great Tour! Loved Staff, Not Perfect Fit for Us"
I really liked the tour I took of this community for my loved one. The staff were super professional during our tour and made sure to answer any questions we had. In the end, though, we decided it wasn't the perfect fit for us.

"Great care, clean environment, and lots of activities!"
We toured this great community for care and were very pleased with the staff. They answered all of our questions. The community is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere. We had lunch and loved the meal and variety offered. There are lots of fun activities to keep residents active. We highly recommend this community for its care and value—other families should tour it for themselves.

"Good Visit at Nice, Organized Facility"
I visited this place and it was nice. Everything was organized and the people there were kind-hearted. The surroundings looked neat and tidy. The staff was gentle and they responded to my questions. I'd say overall, it was a good visit.

"Wonderful Care and Safe Environment!!"
The staff at this place have all been great to my loved one since she moved in. I feel good about the care they give her, and I like that she feels safe in her new home. She hasn’t complained about the food and has enjoyed some of the activities they have during the week. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

"Great Visit, but Too Much Travel for Us"
I had a good look around this place and it was pretty decent. The people working there were nice and they showed me everything. It all looked pretty good and they keep it clean. They have fun stuff for the people living there to do. But the big problem for us was that it's just too far away.

"A Friendly Place for Mom"
This place was our second pick. We liked it during our visit. The folks were friendly and the place was neat. But there weren't many people living there when we came by. We were hoping for a bigger community for Mom to make friends.

"No Apologies or Updates for Missed Assisted Living Tour"
I arrived at the center 20 minutes before my booked tour, but no one was there to guide me around. I waited an extra 10 minutes, but still no one came. To make it worse, I didn't receive any calls or apologies for the whole day. I get that unexpected issues can occur, but a simple update would have been nice.

"Family care over facility care"
I had a tough choice moving my dad from a Brookdale facility where he had a life care contract. It made sense to keep him there financially, but the neglect was becoming clear. In just three weeks at Lodges of Idlewild, he looks much better, and the staff really cares about him. Everyone tries to get him involved in activities, which is a big change from Brookdale, where he often missed meals because he was left to sleep. I’m so grateful I moved him to Lodges because he feels like a family member, not just a resident.

"A Welcoming Community"
My husband stayed briefly at this community. The caregivers were nice and helpful. The place was clean, and the grounds were lovely. They even had a chef on staff, and the food was really good. They offered daily activities, including outdoor walks. Unfortunately, they changed the pricing at the last minute, which made us reconsider staying.

"Excellent care and activities for my mother!"
I’m very happy with the care my mother is getting. They make her feel important and help her with her needs. I always get updates on how she’s doing. The meals are excellent with a nice variety. The community is clean, and they allow pets for residents. They have fun activities that she enjoys. If there are extra charges, they are added to the monthly bill. A maintenance man is always on-site. I highly recommend this place for families who want excellent care and value for their loved ones.

"Great Place for Mom with Good Activities and Pet-Friendly"
The facility and staff are very good. I didn’t give a full 5 stars because there’s always room for improvement. My mother is really happy at the Lodge. They serve excellent meals and offer lots of activities. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Every Friday afternoon, they have a social "happy hour" with live entertainment from 3 to 4. They also have a theater and beautiful courtyards where you can sit outside. Well-behaved pets are allowed, which was a big plus for my mother. Plus, there are several deer living in the woods around the facility, which is nice to see. They also try to organize outings for the residents, but they are optional.
