"Stay Away From Aurora Assisted Living: Terrible Food and Care"
I used to visit when it was Angels Assisted Living, and it was a decent place, everyone was kind and attentive. However, when she took over, the quality just plummeted. I've got photos of the food and the kitchen, and it's honestly shocking. It's so bad, I wouldn't even feed my dog with it. I left in April, and I feel terrible for the people who are still there. If I had the money, I'd hire someone to properly inspect the place. Please don't send your loved ones there.

"Aurora Gardens: Poor Conditions and High Costs Lead to Decline"
This place used to be good under different owners, but everything changed when the Aurora Gardens' people took over. They cut back on things like care, food, and living conditions just so they could keep more money for themselves, even though they still charge a lot for living there. Nothing ever gets fixed, like the air conditioner, which would be broken for days at a time, leaving everybody stuck in 81 degree heat. My loved one kept on complaining until they passed away. I truly think that this place's terrible treatment led to their health getting worse. I strongly discourage sending your loved one to this place.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Community Lacks Privacy and Engagement"
I went on a tour, but met with a different person. The staff didn't seem involved—they couldn't answer basic questions. The community was plain, with nothing on the walls, and people seemed bored. The outdoor area felt like a cage. No privacy; my dad would've shared a small room. Not suitable for his needs.
